I'm honestly surprised how good Far Harbor was compared to how lame Nuka-World was Far Harbor had no right to be as awesome as it was
I think Far Harbor is what happens when Bethesda has all the time in the world and all the money they could hope for
the mod Start Me Up, that one alternate start mod that I keep SHILLING for this thread, just updated and they added back in Traits from the older Fallout games: check me out he also fixed most of the cell edits, now only two cells are edited in the entire game, vault 111 and the bathroom in sanctuary where you start. Most compatible version yet.
Excellent, I get my new computer this week, and I've been looking forward to starting a new game with this. (I've only played on PS4 up until now.)
I'm honestly surprised how good Far Harbor was compared to how lame Nuka-World was Far Harbor had no right to be as awesome as it was
It's such a shame Nuka-World was almost as 2D as the base game, I much preferred the theme of NW over FH. Raiders in a theme park? That should've been a fukken gold mine.
Honestly feel like the size of the Nuka World area is really what a city should be in fallout, and not these tiny rinky-dink areas with no one in 'em. Far Harbor was a lot more fun. I've said it multiple times, but it's a damn shame we're not getting a single piece of new content or land to explore.

I feel like they are always working on at least one.
Snip-O
Theses creatures were never much hassle, I was expecting a long fetch quest to retrieve my weapons but lord behold there wasn't any quest; If i had to fetch my equipment then it would of been a problem but i had a few thousand cells and unique energy weapons along with power armor.
I can't believe that nobody's made a Ballistic Fist mod for FO4.
I'm honestly surprised how good Far Harbor was compared to how lame Nuka-World was Far Harbor had no right to be as awesome as it was
Far Harbor is why I wish developers would go back to focusing on larger expansions post-release instead of rushing a whole bunch undercooked DLC.

I was wondering when a mod like this would start to pop up. The one big thing keeping me from replaying Fallout 4 again is just the thought of having to settlement build all over again is making me sick. Hopefully they can make it more streamlined!

The whole process is hilariously clunky at the moment but if they manage to produce some of the planned features they list, I'm very excited for the mod as a whole. As soon as I got my hands on the settlement mechanic, I yearned for an ability to save and import them from different users. It'd be great being able to save favorite settlements of mine for reuse later, or make a bunch of cool looking pre-fab settlements to use on my many throwaway characters. Or, when I feel like it's about time my character starts a bustling town, just downloading a massive one off the internet with minimal effort.

From what I saw in the related reddit thread, the developers are already optimizing the script to work faster. Also, they plan on adding the ability to export your settlement to a mod. And the files the script saves the settlement to should be in a format readable enough that other modders can use these tools to generate settlements in interesting ways.

Some more pics of my Echo Lake settlement. Never spent that much time building stuff before. Too bad the place is under constant clouds, fog and rad storms.
Looks like the small patch hit, sadly mine auto updated http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=752795517 This thread has links to previous patch .exe files so you can continue playing until F4SE updates
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21852/? Seems like a nice mod to use.

Oh boy time to waste a couple of hours downloading the hd dlc only to ditch it immediately.
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21852/? Seems like a nice mod to use.
Seems like a ballache and a half running into impossibly hard bullet sponges and the like.
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21852/? Seems like a nice mod to use.
It would be better if it was more like how the game tells you it is, that the further you are from Sanctuary the harder things get, but more extreme. That way, you can do a few of the early quests without there being 2 Raider Bulletsponges outside the Museum/Preston's Prison and Corvega being a deathtrap. And it would make survival even more of a dice roll if it just happens to spawn a Mythic Deathclaw while you're minding your own business walking back from a scav mission. If instead the critical path from Sanctuary to Diamond City was a steady curve, but you could tell that straying from the path was dangerous with those high level enemies (and not just in the Glowing Sea) being much more likely then it's only a dice roll if you're brave or foolish enough to walk into the casino.
The High Res Texture pack is out http://store.steampowered.com/app/540810/ It should be already in your DLC list, you don't actually have to go to the store page. If it isn't there restart steam.

The other day I was searching the internet for a mod like this. Fallout 4 felt so empty to me because Bethesda skimped out on all the settlements and pretty much forced it on the player to build them instead. I hated the settlement building.
Sorry if I'm late but is there a before/after for the High-Rez Texture "DLC"?
"downloading now. Fingers crossed that this is worth 55gb" Actual review on the Steam page. Why is this allowed? [editline]6th February 2017[/editline]
Sorry if I'm late but is there a before/after for the High-Rez Texture "DLC"?
I envy the person who can download 60GB in less than 10 minutes and also have time to shoot, render, and upload a Youtube video.
I'm downloading it even though I don't even meet the requirements, I just want to see what happens. I only have 4GB of VRAM. I have an i7 but it s 2nd gen. [editline]6th February 2017[/editline] I'm honestly not seeing any difference in these textures. it might be because of my lack of VRAM, they're not loading at full res. [editline]6th February 2017[/editline] https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/comments/5sfr79/fallout_4_hd_texture_pack_released/ddeoxxc/ 4k Gallery here from some nice guy on reddit. No Comparisons, but some of the textures you can tell are improved. [editline]6th February 2017[/editline] Here is a single image comparison from the same thread. most noticeable on Dogmeat's backpack http://imgur.com/a/01gSc [editline]6th February 2017[/editline] I don't know if this is because of the texture pack, or I just never noticed how good the vault suit texture was in the base game [t]http://i.imgur.com/8S2wgM4.png[/t]

I linked that already :v:
My boi is back with some fresh animations: [hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdWpSKrWT3k[/hd]
