Is there a way to rename categories in NMM that doesn't involve frantically clicking the category until the editing window decides to pop up ?
Gonna be trying this Tale of Two Wastelands thing.

It's a great mod! However it does make your game a tad unstable.

What doesn't make gamebryo games unstable?

Even vanilla it's unstable

I'm not sure they can't crash while you're not even running them :v:

I'm actually playing vanilla in survival mode and I have to doublecheck every time I sleep (save my game) to make sure the save is not automatically corrupted for no fucking reason, which happens 1/4 of the time.
For the Nuka-World DLC should I [sp]Do the story first or just kill the leaders outright so I don't have to be a dick to everyone?[/sp]

[sp]You can do the story quests without being a dick actually. But by the end they'll ask you something nasty, so you can start killing them by that point.[/sp]

I'd say it's less unstable than vanilla Fallout 3 is.

Very true, I don't think I actually had any CTD's while playing through the FO3 portion, even with a heavily modded TTW.
I was really impressed by the train station quest too when you're transitioning from FO3 to FO:NV.

Do you have an option for a plum-colored bolt? I always thought those looked pretty distinctive.

That's so pretty and yet so minor that the creator has to be a massive detail geek to even bother.
Can the bolt also come in beautiful duct tape blue please? :v: [sp]im kidding. Or am i?[/sp]

Nah sorry the references I went with was 50/50 on that so I picked the other and making more texture variants would make the file-size a bit bigger than I'd like.
Anyhow, here have this:

is there a mod that removes the hidden/caution/danger text at the top of the screen when sneaking?
nm; found it: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12359/?

I've yet to try working with PBR textures but maybe I'll take a crack at a plum bolt when you release it...
Best part about Nuka World is if you've got Sanctuary sorted out and you've finished that quest, if you start the Nuka World story after that shit, Preston won't want to talk to you until you've killed them, meaning no fucking places for him to mark on your map.
I started a new playthrough where I ignored Preston & his gang entirely at the beginning of the game, I walked into the town where he was getting lit up by the raiders, looted the buildings while the raiders were distracted, and then I just kept walking. Yesterday, he randomly showed up after I slept at my room in Vault 81, and all he said when I tried talking to him was "You've got to listen to me!" and then walked away. I tried following him but he vanished into the elevator.
My head-canon for this bug is that he died because I didn't help him out, and that was just his ghost haunting me.
tbh I'm glad he "died"

I've had almost this exact bug happen, I waited on a bench and he just randomly sprinted out of the classroom until he disappeared.

Thanks. I'll be able to enjoy it a lot more now.
In this episode of "What the fuck are your priorities":
Female bulges. It's exactly what you probably think.

Has anyone ported/remade Fallout 3/NV armor/clothing sets? I much prefer those games' renditions of the combat armor, metal armor, etc. With high-res textures they probably wouldn't stick out too much.

There's a couple (including the combat armor and the merc armor) on GUNetwork. You only need an account; don't need any posts on it. First person was a bit iffy last time I checked, though; just using the vanilla Institute scientist viewmodel, for some reason.
With the gun handling talk last page, I always thought it'd be a neat idea (if not very effort-intensive) for different animation sets ontop of the accuracy/efficieny differences depending on your skill. With little to no skill, your character wastes time with reloads, fumbles the gun, barely controls the recoil and may even do stupid shit like firing a handgun or SMG sideways. Improving the skill would change the animations, showing your character growing more familiar with weapons and using them better as a result, to the point that weapon mastery isn't just some magic reload speed increase but actually has the character doing mag dumps and loads efficiently or some seriously skilled tac reloads.
Who knows, maybe at some point you'd even practically be an operator tier with some quick style thrown in to show how far you've come.

All of that is very, VERY doable but here is the problem it would be a MASSIVE undertaking F4s weapon animation structure is frankly retarded each weapon has a bunch of little pieces instead of it being one seamless file so the workload to actually make even a single animation is huge.
To do what you are asking you would need a team of animators on a scale akin to the teams working on skywind and skyblivion.
