Didn't Bethesda/Todd state that Fallout 4 VR is going to be a separate title, not DLC?
You're right Also Pete Hines weighs in on it
They didn't need to be more advanced, they could've just been mechanically different. Slower firing for example.
I would of made them as charge weapons, It's base damage would be low but could be overcharged.
Yeah, it seems like (given the more synthetic materials, and the trade-off of damage for fire rate) Institute weapons are intended as mass produced spam cannons for the fairly unintelligent Gen 1/2 synths to use en masse. Also the Institute isn't very into weapons tech to begin with; mostly they're into more practical technology like robotics and bioengineering, so it kind of makes sense that their offensive capabilities are lacking.
In general, the Institute's inefficiency in terms of their military capacity can be explained through what is known about them from the story the game provides as well. They may possess brilliant minds to create a myriad of highly advanced technology, but most of that is as you said, is practical, almost domestic. Their focus is basically the opposite of Big Mountain, which focused pretty much entirely on creating advanced, and unorthodox weaponry. Their primary opponents, the Brotherhood, also have much more experience in strategy and battle than the Institute. I believe the Institute has no real experience in war, so most of their threat comes from espionage, and ambushing from almost anywhere, but that's really their only party trick.
Pls be a GRA style weapon pack. [sp] It probably is VR or something though :( [/sp]
It might be a GRA styled pack, but except it's from community mods if it isn't VR FO4. A sort of paid mods mk2 and we've seen evidence of it making a comeback, but I bet they won't commit to anything like the previous free-for-all attempt.
Not Enclave? But Enclave. Say no more. They are the good guys now!
But we can't just rehash the enclave, we need to give them some sort of ridiculous and lackluster shtick... CHINESE Enclave.
But we can't just rehash the enclave, we need to give them some sort of ridiculous and lackluster shtick... CHINESE Enclave.
No we have to go further CANADIAN Enclave. Edit: This looks like a pretty neat thing that should have been in game. English Enclave, in the dlc called "The British are coming!"
I want the Enclave, but it's a ghoul supremacist group instead. Hell bent on killing anyone that has smooth skin.
Got a wierd unhilarious glitch after modding New Vegas. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Btb91HZ.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/t6qltUr.jpg[/t] Can anyone hazard a guess at what's causing it?
You're just developing super powers it's completely natural.

Also (i think the sound is a little out of sync in the video)
English Enclave, in the dlc called "The British are coming!"
Started by a new radio broadcast, playing a cover of The Clash's London Calling by a faux 50's band.
I really like the holorifle, its like an energy rocket launcher also, "40mm shotgun receiver" yes. yeees.
I just realized the holorifle is literally a Star Wars gun
I'd say ENB, but it doesn't look like you have one.
I do have ENB just for ENBoost, I only copied over the ENhost thingy and the .dll file and let it make the .inis. I just wanted ENBoost.
I do have ENB just for ENBoost, I only copied over the ENhost thingy and the .dll file and let it make the .inis. I just wanted ENBoost.
I think you still have to make the settings changes for ENB, even if you're just using ENBoost; try disabling NV's built in AA, and disabling the Steam overlay if that doesn't work.
I think you still have to make the settings changes for ENB, even if you're just using ENBoost; try disabling NV's built in AA, and disabling the Steam overlay if that doesn't work.
Which setting changes? I've never 'properly' used an ENB before, I just disable the fancy stuff when playing Skyrim but NV's version lacks the same command, I read. Would that also explain why my game crashed a few minutes later?
fallout has precedence for that kind of shit, the laser rcw is basically a star wars laser gun too I want more of that stuff. Contemporary gun with sci-fi shit thrown all over it I want an energy bolt action
I would kill for a bolt action laser rifle Could be some kind of single-shot recharger weapon, with the bolt being used to charge it or something [editline]18th February 2017[/editline]
Would that also explain why my game crashed a few minutes later?
i'm gonna say "maybe" i didn't use only enboost very often so i'm unsure [editline]18th February 2017[/editline]
Which setting changes? I've never 'properly' used an ENB before, I just disable the fancy stuff when playing Skyrim but NV's version lacks the same command, I read. Would that also explain why my game crashed a few minutes later?
Anti-aliasing is the one specifically causing that; I think you had to disable water displacement too or it'd be visible through walls. There's also the transparency fix, but I don't think you'll need it if you're not using any effects.
Not really a fan of how slow the Holorifle fires in comparison to its NV counterpart.
I want the Enclave, but it's a ghoul supremacist group instead. Hell bent on killing anyone that has smooth skin.
I had an idea for a questline / minor faction once that revolved around a US army unit that had almost entirely become ghoulified and refused to believe the war was over. Better rottin' than red!
Not really a fan of how slow the Holorifle fires in comparison to its NV counterpart.
He said in the comments of another video that both the grenade launcher and holorifle fired really slowly for balance purposes. If the holorifle is anything like the New Vegas one statistically, this is probably for the best; thing was a fucking DPS monster. edit: he did also say this might change tho
I think you still have to make the settings changes for ENB, even if you're just using ENBoost; try disabling NV's built in AA, and disabling the Steam overlay if that doesn't work.
I switched off NV's own anti-aliasing and turned on ENB's AA and a quick test showed no superpowers. Thanks! I'd have never have thought it was the ENB.
The SHAUUUUN meme has birthed this gold. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22131/? "Holla Atcha Boy" v:v:v
Features: - Lines are actual dialogue, including lip-sync and helmet effects - High-quality audio extracted from in-game dialogue - Different dialogue if the player is sneaking - Alerts enemies more if yelling, less if whispering <- that's the one cool thing out of this mod - Item persists in inventory

No we have to go further CANADIAN Enclave. Edit: This looks like a pretty neat thing that should have been in game.
That Preston one is fucking gold. Nice to see a companion mod with good effort put into it.
Anyone know a way to force the face paint and grime options to show? I think I accidentally fucked them up (don't use Infinite Answers anymore); trying to see if I can force them to appear, but the only solution I've found is "I played for a bit and suddenly it started working", which has so far not happened.

Think it'd be great if fallout did a storyline where a bunch of british guys in red coats came ashore, told the wastelanders that they'd had a good run of independence, and immediately conquered the united states through the medium of flags, civility, and ghoul genocide.
Theyd probably be ghouls themselves and would be met with staunch resistance.
Any good F4 steam controller configs? Apparently the steam controller is supposed to control like a mouse fairly well. Yet every game I've ever tried it on, it just feels sluggish and unresponsive 99% of the time. Am I just doing it wrong? Whats a good configuration / setting to use that makes it feel mouse-like

I didn't get that at first, because the latter is the default I think.
british wastelanders versus american wastelanders would very literally be bringing a knife to a gun fight
Yeah but it'd be even worse than that because none of their knives would have a pointed tip so they'd have to rely on slashing you to death as opposed to stabbing you or doing something that's actually damaging.
