kinda gross but: [t]http://files.gamebanana.com/img/ss/srends/527708970ed7c.jpg[/t] http://gamebanana.com/skins/129981
10mm? Were they high? Thats gotta be a 30 or 40mm gun. You'd need power armour to carry it.
It does look a lot bigger than I remember, especially considering they were held with one hand in F3 & NV.
It does look a lot bigger than I remember, especially considering they were held with one hand in F3 & NV.
Fallout 1 and 2 too.
One change I'm fine with, besides how it fits the universe, seeing as how some submachine guns can still be big pieces of equipment despite the namesake. [t]http://cdn0.wideopenspaces.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/UMP.png[/t] Now the earlier iterations of the 10mm SMG just feel like a Uzi in comparison.

Weighs more than an M16. Certainly not something you can aim and fire effectively with one hand. Trust me on this. I had to lug around one of those monstrosities in boot camp, for some unclear reason. And the M16. Don't ask. [t]http://olegvolk.net/gallery/d/45779-2/john_galt_uzi_5246web.jpg[/t]
It does look a lot bigger than I remember, especially considering they were held with one hand in F3 & NV.
They were held with one hand there because they couldn't be bothered making a proper animation for it. It looked way too big to be held in one hand there too.
Those are wide angle shots taken close up with the gun in center. V:v:V
I wished Nuka World had an option for you to join the Gunners and claim the whole park just for them. The Gunners have style, style I love.
I wished Nuka World had an option for you to join the Gunners and claim the whole park just for them. The Gunners have style, style I love.
Wouldn't that just make Nuka World become Outer Heaven?
Wouldn't that just make Nuka World become Outer Heaven?
Don't say that wouldn't be cool [sp]tbh tho the gunners are too stupid to be diamong dogs[/sp]
Kind of bothers me how opaque some mechanics in Fallout 2 are, like using meat jerky as bait for geckos or how jammed locks with repair themselves a day later.
Don't say that wouldn't be cool [sp]tbh tho the gunners are too stupid to be diamong dogs[/sp]
More like genome soldiers.
Kind of bothers me how opaque some mechanics in Fallout 2 are, like using meat jerky as bait for geckos or how jammed locks with repair themselves a day later.
Aren't Geckos mindless creatures that will feed on anything? As for locks. You know that doctor reference in the first game.
You know that doctor reference in the first game.
Please don't bring this up again
I honestly think something like a p90 with wood furniture would be pretty awesome to see. It can be that compromise ground between Fallout 2's action gun show and Bethesda's hyper-50's-styled-ness.
Anything I should add so far?
Live Dismemberment!!
That seems kinda useless when things are gonna die in one to three shots :v:
I feel like lockpicking is for filthy chinese communists who believe in shared property and don't want to cause damage. You should blow open locks, doors, and sometimes even walls. It's the american way. (seriously tho they should've allowed you to blow doors and containers open)

It can be that compromise ground between Fallout 2's action gun show and Bethesda's hyper-50's-styled-ness.
The Wasteland Overhaul team (I think) had a concept still of something like this and renamed the P90 to the "Bullpup 10mm SMG" but it seems they removed it once they had to move the project to another Trello page. That or I'm thinking it may have originated somewhere in the Images section of Nexus; really, I don't remember.
That seems kinda useless when things are gonna die in one to three shots :v:
You would think so, but it just makes it all so much sweeter when it happens Also for when your grenades don't completely kill them

Hell you could keep the plastic body as a mod for the weapon that greatly reduces the weapon's weight, in exchange for requiring a hefty amount of plastic and oil.
Isn't the 12.7mm SMG fallout's take on the P90?
Isn't the 12.7mm SMG fallout's take on the P90?
Mechanically yes, but aesthetically no. [editline]24th February 2017[/editline] The only problem I have with the Wasteland Overhaul is that Fallout 4's problem isn't that it need more weapons, it's that it needs better choices of weapons. I don't give a shit about having 50 weapons unless each of them has distinct qualities.
The Spas 12 is more lore friendly than Brotherhood of Steel.
hence "enough"
Still a Spas-12 has a lot of plastic on it, and in most iteration is all black. The "fallout 4" version of it would need to have a more industrial look for me to like it. Though Ive actually never seen an artist make a Spas-12 with metal and wood componentry.
spas 12 is like 95% stamped steel. there are several guns that felt weirder in fallout than a spas 12 would. the HK CAWS from Fallout 2 felt way out of place, same with the marksman carbine in New Vegas [editline]24th February 2017[/editline]
Isn't the 12.7mm SMG fallout's take on the P90?
the P90c from tactics is fallout's take on the P90. [editline]24th February 2017[/editline]
Jesus that looks like a miniature bolter :v: Also speaking of weapons, are there any big compilations around that are somewhat lore friendly(As in doesn't have fucking SCARs and startrek blasters like the one I found did). And what's the best alternate start mod nowadays?
there's no reason the SCAR couldn't be lore friendly. there hasn't been one in any of the games as far as I remember but FN does exist in the fallout universe. Fallout 2 had a FAL and Tactics had a P90, so there's no reason to believe that the SCAR was never made in the fallout universe.
Maybe because the SCAR is a 21st century weapon and the FAL/P90 are 20th century weapons?

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22251/? So many porn mag mods (NSFW obviously)
Maybe because the SCAR is a 21st century weapon and the FAL/P90 are 20th century weapons?
doesn't mean anything. they're all after the divergence with the possible exception of the fal. there's only 14 years between the scar and the p90 anyway if you count van buren as canon then that was meant to have a S&W 500 which is firmly a 21st century weapon [editline]24th February 2017[/editline] there are an absolute ton of other post-divergence weapons especially in fallout 2 and tactics
