Are you sure? It works now. It may have been down because of the release of Dwarf Fortress 2010.
In all seriousness, Runescape has a great magic system imo. It can be used for transportation, combat, and non-combat and has been built into the game in a way so that while it's not a necessity, it is hugely beneficial to train.

I thought this would be a list of games with satisfying spells, DM is the only game on the list that I've played which is satisfying to cast a spell in.
Above posters listed my three: Ultima Online, Dungeons and Dragons, and Nethack.
Wheres Morrowind :( Some could say it has even better Spell Casting than oblivion.
No they couldn't.
Hi, guys...
I was tryin to look for a blog that could help figuring out the name of a 3rd person shooting (ps3 or xbox can't remember which of it was the one that i use back then) that use a magic spell in a PVP deathmatch where u need to collect some kind of coin-like stone powers that u'll use to strike ur opponent with ur hand. As i could remember there are many types of magic spell that you could cast, dark energy, aura repellant or blocker, beam... Etc. And the only guy name that I remember is edward which I think as that guy said he had a dream that they will fight in the future, against the guy that u use. The set of the field is like end of the world that this guys just survive in the oblivion and can't even remember there name.... This is the details for now.. Hope I could still remember some of the details... Any help is appreciated...

Try dishonored, it's tricky and hilarious in other ways, dump every guards u want in the garbage or fed them to the rats... :ohno:

Take note: make sure to let the subject speak before u use the rats or else, ur in the middle of no where..:speechless:

Does Magicka count?
I'm playing the first game with a friend of mine and is actually pretty fun to combine elements to create the spells. I only wish you could turn friendly fire off. I always hated setting people on fire by accident and causing a mess while we're in the middle of fighting monsters.
