It was just a small bug fix patch. They will announce the big patch before it comes out
They said the big patch is coming in 3-4 weeks in the gamescom presentation.
Hotfix 0.2.82.388 Today we plan to install a small patch on the Escape from Tarkov beta test servers - a service update and minor bug fixes will be performed. The minor update is just installed on beta servers. The build version changed to 0.2.82.388. No changelog yet.
That's basically it.
Had a few pretty fun runs with the discord group!. Even tho we all died except for one raid where one of us got out with supreme loot
I just sold my rig with saiga clips and ammo because i thought i had extra one (and was wearing my own rig right now). Well now i have no rig and i must go to factory for one i guess.

Who proceeded to walk up like everyone was dead and then eat 6 12gauge buckshot to the legs before he even saw me crouched next to him and lost both his fancy AK and VSS to me as punishment for killing our team.
My friends experiencing some Desync.
I bet those guys were so pissed man, holy shit. Also pro-tip: put tube fed shotguns in your backpack and take the saigas in your hand, since tube fed shotguns only take up one column instead of two so you can carry more shit.
Makarov only factory runs are pretty fun [thumb]https://i.imgur.com/U2410v8.jpg[/thumb]
Makarov a beast with the expanding bullet. 57 damage, 2 shot kill.
You know people are poor when they're still doing makarov runs.
You know people are poor when they're still doing makarov runs.
hey not my fault everyone has body armor and i can't find any :(
Just buy it from Skier lvl2. If yer not there yet then just sell as much as you can to him until then, if you got enough money laying around just buy and sell it back, it counts for ya both ways. I have all the traders leveled up max and a scav BP full of money I don't even touch and I basically just bring stuff out to piss around in, have a good fight or two. That's all the end game is.
I can only hope that the actual 'escape' mode will be good. And if you can escape with your mates it would be even better.
yeah raids are fun and all but they're incredibly frustrating since they're just throwing 16 players or whatever in to one isolated map. factory is especially overcrowded but i think people play it the most because it's the least buggy map/it has the fastest load times. escape will be so much nicer, especially if they genuinely manage to make the map seamless like they originally intended for it to be. even if it's split up in to separate maps like stalker it'd be nice so long as the individual maps aren't treated like raids with an overabundance of players it's pretty crowded and hectic right now, and for new people with little to no experience with the game it makes for a grueling, grueling experience [editline]31st August 2017[/editline] the most annoying thing for me about the game is how insistent battlestate are with "no hud or UI elements." cool, it's a great idea, but the game desperately needs some kind of compass or friend identifier. there's SO many times when you're playing with pals you lose them around a corner and accidentally shoot them in the back of the head because you think they're someone else they know what kind of game they want to make which is great but some of the underlying features are just incredibly poorly thought out. it's not that they aren't implemented, it's just that the developers have never even thought about adding it at all

It's a deliberate design choice. Obviously you don't have to like it and I see the problems too but it's not like they're just too stupid to realise. Also, seriously, don't play factory, it's a gamble. Any other map lets you actually coordinate. Factory is a killing ground.
> found a friendly hatchling on factory sadly he didn't make it out
My friends experiencing some Desync.
my god if this ever happened to me I would lose my shit so hard are desyncs like this common?
my god if this ever happened to me I would lose my shit so hard are desyncs like this common?
Never seen one that severe. Factory has the worst because desyncs can sometimes be tied t odoors opening/closing. I'd be surprised if THAT happened on one of the larger maps. Smaller desyncs can still happen though.

Just picked this up, does the Bear/USEC choice matter?
Don't forget to join our Discord channel if you want some co-op action.
Just picked this up, does the Bear/USEC choice matter?
USEC has green camo and shitty american taunts, BEAR has black camo, glorious russian insults, and wont react to enemy taunts IIRC.
I am still trying to get used to the sudden pressure of maps having more than two or three other players at a time, doing hatchling runs on factory but I always end up either having a desync or massive physics bug that throws me through a wall and a few barrels, breaking both my legs with 0hp, I tried to do the friendly wiggle to people but it seems to just make you more of a target to them, even if you are literally nothing but a guy in a uniform with a hatchet.

If you're in a survival with a friend you can generally know what equipment they're using, what they look like, etc etc. In Tarkov I'd say there's a relatively high chance you can come across someone who looks like an exact clone. If they can fix that issue, like armbands, markings, clothing colour(Like pants or vest colours) stuff like that I'd be all for it, even though I don't do coop play and am a forever alone pleb.

Probably, however I don't see much of a use in them the maps are so small anyway that if you don't know where you're going with a map you're probably a hopeless survivalist
Yeah, but it'd reduce the acclimation time for learning new maps. I got turned around a lot at first in Customs until I figured out the general flow. It's even more confusing when you're getting shot at and have to bolt. There is the offline mode, yeah, but it gets annoying to play that long with nothing to show for it if you really want to recon things out.
