All of the stuff on my character except for the AK74 with the PSO sight is what i got from my raid on the woods, I think im done with the game until the next update arrives, Alredy had my fair bit of fun with the silenced AK74 and the M4A1 plus got most of my traders to level 3.. Im so glad i finally had a great run so i can take a break :v:

Protip: You can stack backpacks inside eachother. (And T-bags etc too)
Would you guys say the game is worth buying atm?-

Wait one or 2 more updates imo.
It needs a bit more content, the base is really promising tho.
Would you guys say the game is worth buying atm?-
Depends on the price you get it for. If i payed 50e which i would if i bought alone for myself from Finland, then i don't think it's worth 50e just yet. (promising base tho as Darkslicer says)
However i got it from friend who bought us a 4pack gift and it cost us around 32e or something each which i think was worth it, considering how much i have played it already.
Making so that you can't get killed from limb shots (only bleed out) YET making it so that healing requires you to stand still and not be able to use a weapon would radically change the gameplay for the better.
Been doing a lot of runs with random people as of late, and was in the middle of a factory raid with 4 other people, when things went south fast, but led to the greatest haul in history. The game starts in factory and I murder a hatchling in offline. After rushing to bridge, I had boosted myself up to the top of it, and popped 2 scavs hanging around 86. One guy jumps down and starts looting the bodies, while everyone else splits to search for loot in the offices and locker room. I warn everyone that scavs can pop in at random intervals within a certain time frame, and can do so anywhere. everyone ignores the advice and continues on their way. The guy who jumped down to loot the scavs I had killed got murdered by a scav that spawned behind him with a saiga, and everyone ran back to the bridge. The guy who was looting had left the discord at this point, and we all clear the remaining scavs.
I remind everyone how the floor is death until after the final wave (50 mins or so) but of course somebody has to go take the dead guys stuff and "hide" it "somewhere". While this is happening a guy opens the door to the bridge and offices and gets crushed by a pump shotgun scav, this poor bastard happened to be wearing fort armor at the time too. A player kills the scav, loots the player body (again, saying he'd dump everything) and heads for the exit. He gets desync'd in the middle of suicide stairs and gets killed by a makarov scav while I'm engaging people near 86, and his body disappears without a trace. Now it's me and one other player, who has the situational awareness of a lemming, and a final wave of scavs.
At the 50 minute mark the last guy with me heads off the bridge and towards the hole-in-the-wall up in the rafters, but lo- a player scav spawns right underneath him and kills him, honestly it was complete bullshit. So after the first guy dipped out, the fort armor guy had left for a new squad too, and the last two guys started a new geared raid. I asked them if there was anything they wanted to save from insurance, and they said nothing was insured since all they had was scav junk anyway. I leave the discord, and am now a lone wolf.
I'm still hiding up on the bridge, and I know for a fact all players are dead, so the scav players would head towards the main extract. Around the 42 minute mark, the last living thing on the server rushes out from glass hallway towards the exit. Lucky for me, the door is closed, since nobody had tried to extract yet. As soon as he got to the door, I just started dumping rounds out of my silenced AK-74n. 28 5.45 rounds later, the door finally finishes opening, and his body slumps into the doorway. two players had left (including fort armor guy) and the other two started a run after they died, so I had already left the discord before the player scav showed up. I take the liberty of looting every single goddamn corpse in that factory. So several silenced M4's and AK's later, plus a helmet and a tri zip later, I head for the exit. When I open the final door I see a corpse at the extract, and on him is a final helmet, M4, Trizip, and most importantly, brand new fort armor.
If only everyone took my advice and stayed up on the rafters in key spots to watch for scavs, then we all could have looted at the end and got out safe. Instead, everyone dies, and I leave a very happy and very wealthy man. This easily makes up for the 4 helmets and half dozen M4's I lost yesterday helping new players.

Only if your greatest gaming wet dream is a multiplayer S.T.A.L.K.E.R. type shooter, without zombies or mutants, but instead an extremely in depth weapons system.
Welp

Also what's the best way to learn the exit points?

Do some raids in offline mode with a map open, you'll figure out the exits fairly quickly.
Or you could just watch some YT videos on where the exits are located.

Really liking this so far. The game has excellent sound making everything way more intense. You're actually following the footsteps you hear all around you.

This game does sound, and movement just perfectly. Like it's amazing how far a firefight is different from games like battlefield or cod.
Because the sound is so much more realistic, you change you way you play.
You can't just rush into a room, because the people will hear you running towards it. It changes everything about the gameplay. Like you're constantly going "what was that, where those footsteps?"
Factory is the perfect example of this.
I just hope they give more incentive to bring proper weapons to a firefight. Like, you're not going to spend a shitload of money and time making the perfect gun if you can lose it in seconds.

There is an incentive though, it's fun and intense to bring a pimped out gun with you!
The more stuff you put on the line when entering a raid, the more intense it gets since you obviously don't want to lose your expensive stuff.
Also, bringing good gear gives you an advantage over a lot of players which only means more loot, as long as you play it safe.
Edit: You really shouldn't bring any expensive gear to factory though since it's such a fast-paced map when compared to the larger ones.
Problem with gearing up right now is there's a slight chance desync can ruin your experience
Go duo or better yet with a group to minimize chances of bullshit kills and stuff if you wanna gear up
Woo the FP discord group finally had a run where we did not die and scored some neat loot
Only took about 15 crashes and reconnects, but we made it!
I'll totes play with you guys but I kinda want to wait for the next update first.
So I had the idea to put 5 lasers on a shotgun for shits and giggles but when you spawn in one of them is already toggled on. So when you press your key to toggle tactical, it switches the on one to off and the other 4 on so you can only have 1 or 4 on, never 5. Anyone know a way around that?
[sp]Also, now I'm the Predator[/sp]

Actually no the sounds in this game are quite shit. The gun sounds are top notch, as well as most other things but they have no direction to them, no echo's, no diffusion through floors, etc etc. It's really super basic. Also standing on metal stuff and it sounds like I'm walking through a field of empty coke cans, sounds weird as fuck. I'll even argue that footsteps are TOO loud.
started with a Tokarev, got shot early-on, suffered a fracture so I decided to wait near the exit
a couple distant firefights later, some unsuspecting scav was heading towards the factory exit, popped him in the head and made off with all his loot

[sp] fuck me [/sp]
Notification on the current firing mode on weapon when switching and/or checking firing mode
I like that it shows you when you click the button to actually look at your firing mode since on the M4 you can't even see the switch 99% of the time.
AI Improvements:
Added smooth turns
Chance of hearing now depends on a distance
Added aim shift on receiving damage
No more 180 insta kills from scavs?\
About 20 exploits of using weapons and items that are not in inventory
Fuck you pistol glitchers
Fixed:
Part of the desync bugs
Part of the server join bugs
Part of raid completion bugs
Multiple fixes of collisions on locations that caused character to get stuck
Thank fucking god.
Surprised they're not doing a wipe when they add the quests. Doesn't that mean that quests are going to waste for half the people since we already have the traders leveled up?

Your trader level won't matter anymore. To unlock the good stuff now you earn trader standing from the quests
Does this include the Hideout update?
Does this include the Hideout update?
Friend heard that this is just part of a 2 parter update, they did mention some new weapons that were supposed to be released but they aren't listed on the patch notes. If its not in the following update the it'll be released along with open beta which is supposed to hit around December.
