What do you guys think of the standard edition? do you regret having a small stash?
it's a bit of a struggle after a few successful raids and you're up to your eyeballs in guns and other shit.
you have to play inventory tetris a lot but otherwise i'm ok with it
Kind of figured out I hate having a full inventory anyway as I sell most of the stuff usually, so not such a big problem.
Personally I find the larger stash to be a weird perk for pledging more money. I can only imagine it's there so you can "hold on" to valuable loot or as a convenience for when you have multiple tiles of small loot like medical stuff, mods, and cash but just having loot doesn't really do anything for you except collect dust. But it doesn't even do that because it's virtual. I just take shit out as I get it and I've never had an empty or even half empty stash since I started playing.

Shit, I think inventory Tetris is a fun minigame. Waiting for the mobile game tie-in that has you organizing [del]Stalkers[/del] PMC's loot where each stage gets harder and more esoteric.
I'm a hoarder when it comes to game like this unfortunately, I have like 12 fort armors just sitting in my inventory doing nothing. Then again every experience I've had going into a raid with a fort has ended in me being gimped in the dumbest ways so I have a stigma with them, anymore though since I have zero room in my inventory I do a hatchet run on factory and get the first scav I see, take his shit and won't leave untill I die or am loaded enough for a care free run on customs
Is it worth getting the basic version? I want to get this, but the stash size being the main perk is kind of putting me off, I tend to be a hoarder, but don't want to spend more than £35 or so.

I don't have as much stuff for quests laying around, but i try to focus on doing one thing at a time, so atm i'm getting 60round mags for ak, usb drives and gas analyzer tasks. But still, you can manage your space well if you just sell stuff you can either get easily or just dont need.
(all rigs have stuff in them like helmets, mags and rare pistols. backpack has backpacks stacked inside eachother and some quest items + fort)
because what you don't see in that picture is OTHER bags stacked inside those pilgrims

I was pretty on the fence about getting this game, largely because of the price (It's not that it's expensive, I'm just frugal). Thanks for the heads up!
Just a friendly reminder that if you have a beta or gamma container and you just started Tarkov, you can hand your container to a friend and reset your profile (once every few weeks I recall) and regain those items instantly
My friend gave me his beta container after the last wipe, figured I'd mention it to all of you with alpha containers
You can also buy them with ~5000 dollaridos once Peacekeeper is at rank 4 (at least before wipe).

It sucks having a full inventory all the time but it's worth not being a sucker who pays an extra $20 for virtual inventory space that you'll probably be able to get anyway later on when they add hideout.

That huge-ass wall with watchtowers on the second part of shoreline seems to be the port, an extraction point from where all of the TerraGroup's employees escaped.
How the hell do I git gud at this game? I feel like I can do enough to keep some basic gear and inventory stocked, but seeing you guys talking about spending $5k and shit, is it just thrifty grinding or am I the scumsucker of this playerbase?

Scav runs and successfull scav kills. Loot a couple of 153 shotguns, those are worth a lot. Also pistols.
Basically just loot scavs and escape as scav for tons of easy loot.
Alternatively join FP Tarkov discord, 5 stack in a map and mop the floor of scavs
don't forget to use a scav backpack or larger to pick up loot like candy
I hope they add an AKMS, it seems to be in a lot of the icons and whatnot.
Or, preferably, something even cooler like an M70AB2.

That's an AKMS. You can't just drop those stocks on a regular AK, you can see how the mounting system is completely different. So you'll be stuck with those stocks when you pick them up in game.
Looks sweet though.

It has the optics rail though, I guess that's the "AKMNSLP" or whatever esoteric slav designation you might call it.
