I love EFT and I think community is one of the better ones in this game (for the most part). Just play a couple of customs run's as scav and it's likely you will end up with a wiggling army of scavs roaming together. Theres just something (apart from possible loot) that keeps people from shooting eachother there and instead makes them team up to gank on players. Got really angry not at the "pay 2 win" rant itself about packages, but at how rude and uncivil he was about community and players who like the game (and actually fucking know what kind of game EFT is). If you want to criticize a game, do it, but at least put some effort into doing your research and don't shit on the community. Glad Kotton stood up to clear his mess and glad that devs are staying chill and just making a joke about all of it. People tend to put EFT devs into bad light because "they don't communicate or listen to community". That is not true, at least not their intention at all. They are russian devs and communicating with english speaking community is always problematic for them. And to be honest, they are actually listening to players despite all this, which you understand to be true if you play the game and see the changes they do yourself. With every update they have been working on the things that need to be worked on and not a single update has failed to improve the game little by little. Even the netcode is starting to be less of a spaghetti for most players.
We went onto the factory and we slammed it so hard the server crashed and we couldn't join back

Getting real sick of this late spawn retardation. It's unfair as fuck, especially on maps like customs where people will spend a good 20 minutes watching one of the few ways across the river.
Late spawns are absolutely brilliant, why would you NOT want to spawn six minutes late after all key areas have been looted and everyone already has the good posititions held? As far as I understood their concept of open world is... It's all bullshit, it's not really 'open world' per se so much as you can walk around in an open world to enter the event/raid.
It's literally just S.T.A.L.K.E.R. as far as the map being split in to hubs but instead of going from one location to the next connecting location you "extract" and go right back to what ever your base of operations is. It'd be interesting if there was a operator Rally Point or headquarters for your given faction that you can move around and socialize/barter with other players of your PMC group (if they ever plan on implementing voice chat). From this HQ you'd also have access to your operator specific vendors (Peacekeeper for USEC, Prapor for BEAR, skier and the pharmacist for both [would actually make you think about which faction you actually want to join based on what Weaponry and attachments you want to access to]), which they could from there move to a reputation system where if you're just always shoot to kill regardless of who you're shooting you can be kicked out of that HQ or base and then you are stuck dealing with just fence and no other vendors till you regain a reputation that would allow you back into your specific HQ.

I don't get it myself, the only time I try to cooperate with randoms is on scav runs if I'm in range of AI scavs so there's less of an incentive for betrayal. Also, is it just me or do AI actually work as independent groups? Like, I'm pretty sure I've killed a group of AI scavs but further up ahead another group wouldn't consider me hostile. That seems logical but I don't know if I misremember that.

It is pretty inconsistent thogh.

Then 10 minutes later after walking around bumping shoulders with countless AI scavs right when I decided to exit they all lit me up at once.
The wiggle means nothing. People who think it means someone won't be hostile are gullible and deserve to be purged.

I've found the AI to be very hit or miss. I think when they dont get angered it's just a bug.
I find if I'm hatcheting, no gear, I'll wiggle only for other hatcheters. As soon as I get a gun, or they have a gun it's fair game, kill on sight.
