It's all based on blind luck depending on who joins the raid with you or if a scav spawns with one.

I had a helmet needed for Skier but I died aaa

Was in a firefight with a Group and managed to kill 2 people and 1 from a other group that tried to stab me in the back ended up dying from a Guy from the first Group by recieving damage and hearing no Sounds of shots/cracking or anything just kept getting damage and then fell over. Was a bit frustrating but hey off to the next Raid, Anyone knows if the Ammo i'm using is good? I'm using the 5.45x39 mm HP the grey one with 66 damage and 9/6 Armor pen is it still true that PRS is better because it was bugged or is that fixed?

Personally, I think they did kind of destroy the point of Therapist - I think Peacekeeper should offer them at level 3 or 4, rather than at level 1, or they should be a level 1 trade too.They are a strong 1x1 medkit, and atm are pretty much more useful than a Sawela storage wise, and the grizzly is just too huge - particularly since you need the rig with a 2x2 to hotkey them!

I'm curious, is the game in USD when buying from the US $44.99 total, or is there a tax that comes into play AFTER choosing your method of payment? I saw you can pay with a gift card, and I have a gamestop card lying around in my email with $45 on it, so I'm just curious if it would cover the cost or if there's another charge later in the transaction. I want to buy into the game, but $45 is steep for me right now unless I can pay the full price with this card and not out of pocket. [editline]23rd January 2018[/editline] Answered my own question. Regardless, I couldn't even put the $33.3 they would take for the gift card. I assume either the payment option was bugged, not fully implemented, or I was missing something. Dunno. Never payed with a gift card like this before so I just decided not to bother since the process was a little confusing for me.

i've been interested in this game for a little while, watched some streams, but i still have no idea what the point of this game is. what are the goals for a player?

[editline]23rd January 2018[/editline] fuck me $45 usd is a steep price.[/QUOTE] It's DayZ but when you're not currently in an instance you have a global inventory (stash) You pick what you want to bring out of your inventory (guns, armor, etc) before each instance If you escape from the instance (in most cases, reach the opposite side of the map) you get to keep what you brought + anything you found and can sell them or put them in your stash for later If you die, you lose what was on you (minus what you put in a small special container you get + anything you had insured that wasn't looted by someone else but that's not too relevant) but still have the buffer of all the items in your stash so it's not nearly as bad as when that happens in DayZ There's also traders you can access from the main menu so you aren't required to find literally everything that you need, if you have the money from selling previously looted items you can gear up Personally I much prefer this system to DayZ, because instead of dying meaning I lost literally 3 hours of work and now have to scrounge for a can of soda so I don't die of dehydration, I don't have to worry about any of that and can pretty easily just get right back into it since I have that buffer of gear

That and it feels quite a bit like STALKER as far as the environment goes, which is one of the main appeals for me. I can always use more STALKER in my life :v: Contact standing is a bitch and a half to get though. I just wish there was more stuff to find in the maps. It feels like there are only so many boxes, and the best spawns are more or less guaranteed to have been looted to shit already, or guarded extensively by pmc's with fully decked out gear. Also theres a load of loot in certain places, even after the round has gone on for a while, just gotta be careful. That said, the amazing things like factory key will defo be gone.

I went downstairs, went back up, searched it again, and then it contained dollars! Shit, I failed the Skier mission where you need to find the helmet. Couldn't get it in time. I had one, but I lost it...

Man, it sucks how leveling Therapist reduces your standing with Skiier. I did a single run of Factory and was incredibly lucky to snatch that helmet from a dead PMC including his 30k dog tag. If I didn't fuck up the mission the first time and didn't do a mission for Therapist I'd have had Skiier on Level 2 already.

Hah, holy shit, I just did the second mission for Skier, the one where you need to recover some documents in Customs. With a Vepr with two 10-capacity magazines and a Grach with 2 mags, I went there, and spotted a guy on the bridge leading to the old gas station. Popped him, took his fully decked AKS with a sight, silencer, some armor and a riot helmet, his MBSS and his AVS. I was prone so I was in time to see his buddy, he thought I was dead, then I shot him too. He busted my leg pretty good though, but thankfully they both had painkillers, so I popped those and went on my way to the smuggler boat. Behind the dorms, I ran into a guy with a Toz, and using my new silenced AKS, I shot him in the head. Took his dog tag and ran off. Survived a run-in with a couple scavs, though I was bleeding pretty bad, then I went to the crossroads and survived succesfully. That felt so good, and I got shittons of loot off those three - and their dog tags in total were worth 100k. Best raid so far.
