I finally broke and bought the game last night so I can start fresh with the wipe and new patch Scavved into a woods game to just see how the game runs, and practice movement/looting Literally the first AI scav I ever see in the entire game (and subsequently shoot), what's in his backpack? THE FUCKING FACTORY KEY Why did I decide to play and use up all my luck before the wipe ;_;

What does the factory key do? I always see hundreds of different keys everywhere but I never knew what they did.

It both unlocks the quickest extraction point in Factory, and a shortcut through the guard station on Customs You use the various keys to unlock doors/safes in the game, ideally grab any that you see that you don't already have

It's an extremely useful key that opens two extractions and a locked room in factory and a shortcut on customs.

They say they've improved network latency but i ain't seeing it, still getting shot on clearly delayed shots. Still wish they'd fix penetration, a rifle round should not fly off at a 45 degree angle hitting wood.

I just had a guy shrug off half a mag of ak74 u rounds. Trouble is, I don't know if it was bad latency (because his model did flinch), the gun you start with is piss poor, the bullet values have changed for PRS or he was wearing some type of armour I've not seen yet (thought it looked like a black rock) THE LEARNING STARTS AGAIN

This new update is pretty cool, they just gotta work out some of the kinks (like buying/selling stuff at traders doesn't save the money you've spent at their shop for instance, only repair and insurance costs it seems)

Ehhh, the netcode does feel worse. I thought it was pretty decent just before the wipe, now I've noticed twice in a row that I'm getting killed on the other sides of walls after I've been in cover for a few seconds. Feels like early battlefield 4 all over again.

So is the game actually good? Whether I go on reddit or here to read about what people think of this game it's mostly negative.

God damnit, got legged by a scav and got dehydrated and dropped dead a few feet away from the extract. I was using every single healing item to keep myself alive

If you like a semi realistic game that has a focus on weapon modding and scavenging(Not so much exploring once you learn the maps) then it has great potential as a game for you. As it stand right now the netcode is ass and there's a few required quality of life improvements they need for any long term play.

I enjoy the gameplay loop of starting out with a cheery, bright-eyed group of friends on the premise of setting out to kill scavs and collect loot, only to slowly lose your friends over time, then being the last one standing with a critical wound from friendly fire and no medical supplies around, so you opt to die alone in a dark bathroom stall where maybe no one will find your corpse because the only thing you have left is denying anyone to be able to take your mediocre treasure. Keeps me in a good mood :^)

people complain about skier task they make it worse there shouldnt be timed missions that are totally reliant on luck
