You bought the game before the beginning of this year, that's a christmas present they gave to everyone that already owned the game
The guns look too expensive for me to go into a raid with them :V All i wanted was a dust cover for my ak74 :c
Disassemble them and sell every attachment to Skier, a good way to boost spent cash.

I wish they'd fix penetration already, shooting .308 into plywood should not make it fly off at a 45 degree angle.
You see comrade, is not regular capitalist plywood, is glorious soviet weapon-grade plywood. Game needs no fixing, is good.
what nikitia actually believes
I've been watching this game for a while now, is it worth the price at it's current state or is it still pretty early beta?
There's a sale on right now, get on it if you wanna take the dip. It's definetly worth the price IMO.
Just prepare for some of the most rage inducing shit you've ever dealt with in game.
Not worth it at all. People want to insist that this game is actually good because of its cult like following, but I cannot recommend a multiplayer focused game that does not have basic infrastructure to support multiplayer - chiefly the persistent netcode issues that are still a problem.
The thing is, at it's core, it's a good game with lots of potential. The netcode is shit, there's lots of QoL problems and basic things they've yet to fix and really it's all down to if you can tolerate that garbage and have faith they'll eventually fix it. (I also firmly believe some of the devs are dumb as bricks and they lack any real guidance with the game or communication with the playerbase)
its great, i think the extra editions arnt worth it though
clarify pls
Is there any tips on how to deal with the bot scavs? I've been trying to practice on the offline mode with PvE but the AI seems to be either entirely oblivious to my existence until I kill them or super trained operators that swarm me in packs of like 6 and know exactly when to rush when I'm reloading. Factory's like impossible because every bot on the map seems to swarm to the sound of gunshots so every attempt consists of killing one then trying to hold down the fort as they sneak up on me from every angle until one rushes around a corner and one shots me with a shotgun. I figure I should at least know how to deal with the AI before I toss well armed players into the mix.
having a lot of gear and getting hit in the face hitbox by a hatchling?
Most scavs roam around in groups of 3, so try not to let your guard down to reload until you kill that many. I'd also recommend reloading in a position where you can fall back to safety so that when you do get rushed you have somewhere to go to buy yourself some more time to reload. Sometimes it's best to just run for your life until you're in a safe spot than to risk staying in your current position. It's all about odds of survival and trying to increase those odds through any means necessary.
Scavs one tapping you in the face in a split second, stuttering when you're getting into firefights, stuttering in general for no appreciable reason, some maps can be laggy if you don't have a monster PC, shitty netcode which gives aggressive players a big advantage, or just decides to fuck you over because it was bored. On it's own tolerable but when you lose all your gear that you spent a while farming for to it? It gets a bit frustrating. For instance I was on Shoreline resort roof, I get about 30fps at that place. I get shot at from my side so I drop fast as I can and turn to face the attacker, FPS drops to about ~20 give or take and it stutters a bit which turns a kill into my death.

found a RSASS skier sells ammo but i cant see any mags
I'm not seeing a correlation between your screenshot and the game photo TBH. Looks like a standard modern rifle rifle.
i think he means the lighting

ahhhhh gotcha
https://i.gyazo.com/98f11b85f3a38fcba50b2e77d47b6438.png Scavs can see through the sale banners and will shoot you through them up in the food court, be cautious, they spawn 3-4 around the center of the step landing
I wish they'd just remove grass until they can figure out how to make it fair... Grass shouldn't be fucking a defender up, and it's depressing to just shoot someone who's hiding in a field of it, let alone try to hide when getting shot at.
Grass is never fair in any game, EXCEPT Delta Force 2. Because it was a voxel engine, it was able to render grass indefinitely. Games today can't. So you get nice grass out to 50 meters maybe, 100 if it's well done, with a huge performance impact at that, and then it disappears and you just see flat terrain, but everything will look like it sinks into the terrain slightly to 'simulate' the grass being there, but it doesn't help. You're still a blob against a solid background It sucks
I know, ArmA did that and it was 'acceptable' of sorts, better than nothing. Not sure why they can't render the grass around players but have it just be invisible and kinda make the parts of a player invisible at distance. It's one of those things I feel if it cant be done right, it shouldn't be in the game.
