Fence is supposed to be a predecessor to the player driven market, everything he sells is something someone sold to him, and since he takes anything, including useless junk loot, a lot of people use him when they cant sell something to their favorite traders. Fence always rips you off, by the way.
I love this game but I'm real fuckin sick of the bullshit. So many times I've dove behind cover to be killed by a delayed shot, scavs pulling bullshit kills all the time like firing into the air and managing to hit me some how, or automatically snapping onto me with pin-point accuracy when I take a suppressed shot from far away. I would have knife-killed some fucking clown on Customs but he kept running away from me and every 2nd step he would teleport forwards a good 3 feet making it completely impossible to catch up with him. Getting stuck in geometry. Losing connection and not being able to join the match, then the game decides to take all my gear. Fighting players that glitch their gear so that after you kill them they don't drop their guns. The list goes on. I have had a lot of really really good moments in this game but when you spawn into a map and crest a hill to be met by a firing line of players literally 2 seconds into the match it makes it really hard to want to keep playing
The netcode isn't good enough for the face hitbox to exist yet Giving the peeker a 150ms advantage (I went and doubled checked the battlenonsense video, the movement delay averages 120ms and peaks at 150ms) is HUGE, that's more than half the average human's reaction time (250ms) and with the lovely addition of the face hitbox that means you can be dead before you even have a chance to react I did some quick napkin math on a worse case scenario of defensively holding a corner: Taking a reaction time test real quick I got an average of ~210ms, or about 13 frames at 60fps (and lol who can run this game at 60fps) so I'll just use that as the "average gamer reaction time" and assume we're all about on equal footing A 150ms movement delay is 9 frames where they can see you, and you can't see them When you're defensively holding a corner and someone leans around to peek it, because of the netcode overhead you have (using our average reaction time of about 13 frames) ~4 frames where they are on your screen to react (aka less than 1/3 of your minimal reaction time) before they are clicking and unloading their magazine which can now conveniently instantly kill you because REALISM Add even a 70ms ping and as far as the server is concerned, you are effectively dead before you've even seen the first frame of the enemy on your screen But that's Tarkov I guess

Oh no, I've been around tarkov since closed Alpha, I know how fence works, but on a Reddit Q and A they said we only see a portion of what is sold to fence, so if they already filter it to some extent, why not filter out the items that have literally no value whatsoever. Items people literally have zero incentive to buy, like washer nuts for example

hackers are just out of control lately we've encountered 5 in 2 days. Aimbotters and speed hackers, blatant speed hackers. The worst thing is we know one guy in particular, he's been doing it since the earliest versions and someone entirely unrelated to us has a fucking VIDEO of him speed hacking. BSG response *crickets* Their anti cheat is dog shit, they refuse to consider out of house options (like battleeye) and the cherry on top is they have a retarded "no naming and shaming" policy which is just mind boggingly stupid.
I've only experienced 1 obvious hacker so far and I'm even playing on the RU server (because more action and less campers)

Jesus, I was just doing a run on factory when I all the sudden keeled over and died. I was like, "What in the actual fuck?" The only engagement I was in was at about 25 meters, I shot the player twice, received zero hits, ran 15 meters back into the tunnels, then died. I died about 5-6 seconds after the "engagement" if I could even call it as such.

I've cornered scavs for them to teleport into the fuckin ether and warp somewhere else the second they break line of sight, then immediately re-engage me with pinpoint accuracy. It's really quite bullshit for a game where you can die fucking instantly.
As much as I hated the whole 'Helmets are useless I stopped using them' posts on Reddit, I've become one of them. Hitboxes for them are smaller than they should be and the times it's saved me I don't feel really justifies their price. Shemagh operate for days(Till a scav headshots you anyway)
Yeah i honestly stopped wearing helmets completely, we also just had a mate shoot a scav point blank with a shotgun, scav gives zero fucks and shoots him on the head ( while he was wearing a helmet ) and straight up dies

One specific example given was if you kill a scav boss as a scav, then next raid as a scav you'll have the scav boss' bodyguards hunting you down. Found a M4A1 in the lumber yard on woods. That thing kicks ass, I'm never bringing that in an online raid lol.
RIP rounds are frangible so I don't understand why they would have increased penetration properties against armor vs a regular slug

When weapons glitch up like that it's something to do with the ammo (or magazine if it's magazine fed) Figured this out by having two Mp153's on me and both would not kill anything I was shooting at, ammo count was going down as I was loading new rounds, but when I ended the raid my buckshot stacks were all max as if I had never loaded them into the guns.
