I wish they'd remove killing shots from limbs, make it a bleed out/force you to fall over for legs or drop your gun for arms(Maybe those for both limbs blacked out). Would make things a lot more tense and realistic.
That would be insanely annoying, especially with how bullshit the netcode/scavs are right now.
More annoying than hearing gunshots after you fall over dead from getting shot in the leg?
I mean, if limb disabling became more intense than just making your aim shake or limp I'd do nothing but run with a saiga 12 because there would be no reason not to. What's to fear when you can dump your magazine into someone's arms in under a second?
You reloading and them pulling out a pistol to shoot you in the face?
Current status (pre 0.9)
Anticheat update is being finalized. It will be added in in the intermediate update before 0.9 patch.
Stuttering and freezes. Discovered and fixed several freeze issues linked to physics, weapon firing, shaders, player and AI spawns. Some of this fixes also will be added in intermediate update.
AI. Discovered and fixed abnormal behavior in several cases. AI will be fully reworked in the next patches.
Spawn system. Spawn selection will be removed to ensure randomness and avoid possibility of close spawning. Also level design will be tweaked for that.
Netcode. Working on the overall improvement (spawn lags, peaker advantage, teleporting)
Optimization of Shoreline and Customs - almost done. Will be in 0.9, maybe earlier.
Quests. Time limit in quests will be removed. Also partial handover of items will be implemented + overall quest design being tweaked.
"Ancient evil code" bugs being fixed (inventory lockups for example)
Location bugs are being fixed (LODs, absence of physical colliders etc)
Firerate linked to FPS is fixed
Other fixes that I forgot to write
features and content, but it's not important right now.

Hopefully they fix the retarded as fuck penetration, just lost some good gear because some asshole was camping under a grate stairway on factory and they're apparently tougher than tank armour, dumped 10 shotgun buck into him and 1 hit, presumably through a little gap. Fuck those walkways in general. Fuck the penetration mechanics in this game as a whole, too.
He probably glitched his hitbox outside the map.
Assume most things aren't penetrable even though they specifically showcased how "advanced" their penetration system is, can really only reliably shoot through wooden doors and bullet proof glass at the KIBA store, shopping shelves and other flimsy things such at the grated walk ways you speak of are impervious even to AP rounds
It's because buckshot has a penetration value of only 3, and those walkway grates are, as far as the game is concerned, just very thin solid surfaces
I've put .308 through them for no effect, I just keep thinking, 'realistic game, realistic penetrations' and it fucks me.
Angling must have an effect on penetration (since rounds can ricochet I think?), and since it probably treats it as a solid metal plate with no holes...
Well I'm done with this game till they sort their shit out, nothing like losing 3m roubles worth of shit in 2 raids to complete and udder horseshit
Im with ya there, ever since I figured out the damage system on this game needs major revamp because there's literally no reason to going out with any armour, that being a core gameplay issue rather than something to be fixed down the line and doesn't seem like it's getting addressed any time soon. That with every other bullshit problem with this game it's almost too much.

One of those patch in a day things they're leaving till the big 0.9, or some arbitrary intermediate patch because they have some weird aversion to doing quick small patches to fix shit like this as they come up.
Yeah their kinda slow with patching bugs, I mean shit, they JUST got around to fixing my tree's on shoreline with the 0.8 patch, they still haven't fixed the magazine showing loaded when it's empty bug and that's been around since the early alpha.
They really should have held off on the face hitboxes. I feel like they rushed it out and didn't take into consideration all the other changes they were making.
I finally went out decked out in expensive shit I collected and saved, and died within 15 seconds of a raid because a scav dropshot headshot me with a shotgun on a slope and through a bush
I was so angry I just ALT+F4'd the game and haven't opened it in a few days.
I'm not touching interchange any time soon, I've yet to run into people I know without a shadow of a doubt are hacking until recently on interchange, fucking warping scavs and people aimbotting you through thick as fuck bushes and the utility shack you're next to, but it makes sense for hackers to be more rampant on that map given everyone and their mother is wanting to play that excuse of a 'finished' map.
I feel like since they've announced they are "going to get an """anti-cheat""" it's just invited more people to be rampant with their autism because factory is fucking unplayable with gear, you're just going to get one tapped cross map by a naked with a AKS, PM, or Toz, so fuck both factory and interchange right now.
Shoreline is the ONLY map I haven't run into bullshit (other than the scavs [I tend to forget that the "every day average joe" in Russia is as skilled as John wick]) and my deaths have been entirely my own fault
I've always wondered about the devs logic with grenade throwing distance, especially with the m67, the M67 can fucking sail.
The weight difference between the two is 0.445 pounds yet when you throw the M67 it's like you suddenly become he-man
grenades are kinda fucky to be honest, i had one explode CLOSE to me, the initial blast dident kill me but somehow the sharpnel from the grenade hits my head and insta kills me even tho im wearing a **helmet**

Well shrapnel is usually what kills you unlike what games like cs and bf makes you believe. The F1 is a tactic nuke due to it creating a lot of shrapnel.
And the m67 is problably easier to throw further because of the size, it's Always easier to chuck something that fits perfectly into your palm.
The funny part is the grenades aren't as deadly as they should be. F1 Shrapnel can reportedly be thrown out to 200 meters(However you're very unlikely to get hit at that distance), 30 meters is where you're probably gonna catch something serious. This game has you standing next to nades with death being only ontop of them more or less.
Well, considering how cancer F1 grenades were during the closed alpha, I'm fine with how grenades act now, they're for flushing people out more than anything
F1 are specifically defensive grenades, you're not supposed to use them unless you're hunkered down in a good position.
the RGD-5 are really underpowered though not worth much apart from scaring people, my friend thew one into the extraction zone on shoreline not knowing i was there it landed <5m and didnt touch me
the grenades are just useless all around. RGD-5s might as well just be flashbangs, because thats the only use you get out of them.
