Does each 2 page in the book equal to a day? Wich mean if theres a empty spot, then i missed something that day?
You cannot fill the whole journal in one playthrough. Each page also can be added to more than once and changed, so it's more complicated than just 2 pages/day.
I got my Donut Wolf shirt in the mail yesterday. It even came with a Night in the Woods button :ok:.

Alright thanks
I'm surprised they don't sell Mae's shirt in their merch. It's such a simple little design but I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Speaking of shirts, which should I get?
Logo - agree
Constellations - disagree
The Group - funny
Donut Wolf - winner

Leaning towards the logo or constellation shirt, but I like em all.

He also mentioned a decent sized art book that's in the works a few posts down. :dogcited:

Aww yeah, gonna be irresponsible with my money when that comes out. Might even get one of the other shirts while I'm at it; I've always liked merch that isn't overtly branded, just subtle stuff, but the constellation shirt is nice enough I might get it anyway.

Very nice video, though one thing I disagree with him is that he [sp]interpret Mae's shape issue as an influence from the Black Goat, when it sounds more like a case of derealization[/sp]

[sp]Mae's mental health aspect is one of my favorite parts of the game so I don't really like hearing it devalued by "it's just something supernatural". The potentially supernatural elements of the game are fine and all and I've got no problem with it but I think it's a little more complicated than just that.[/sp]

I feel like this is a pretty perfect match

Personally, I'd be fine with the notion of [sp]Mae being genuinely unstable, but the influence of otherworldly powers have exacerbated her condition to an extent. That way, the very real mental issues remain potent, while the supernatural elements are just making things worse for her. A bit like having hay fever when someone throws a flower in your face.[/sp]
[sp]Besides, the Black Goat seems to merely "influence" others, and can't outright possess people.[/sp]

Sure, that seems plenty likely to me. Her being particularly vulnerable to things like that makes sense.

And in a way, maybe her [sp]inherent mental issues also set off her supernatural dreams and communion with elder beings. Not just in her head, but not entirely due to external influences.[/sp]

And that artstyle is just adorable, I love it

[sp]Getting "derealized", being excluded from social circles due to hospitalizing someone, seeing a doctor who couldn't do or explain shit and having to move to a weird new place where you're so afraid that you can't socialize, eat or sleep properly would probably fuck up anyone even without the help of elder gods. I'd say it's safe to assume Mae has actual mental health issues[/sp]

I always hate reading through the part [sp]where she explains how everyone told her she had anger issues when clearly that's not the fucking problem. If only the town had a competent psychiatrist or something.[/sp]

I'm not disregarding that, and I'm not implying that [sp]the Black Goat made her go ax-crazy[/sp]. I'm just saying that [sp]unwanted influences probably wouldn't lay off of her even when she's got real issues. If anything, given enough time she probably would have ended up being targeted by the cult due to her being deemed a "liability" like Casey was.[/sp]

From that same band that did Weird Autumn. It isn't as good as WA but I haven't really heard a vocal cover of Die Anywhere Else that I really liked

That is... really not nearly as good, huh. Vocalist is, frankly, trying too hard. I hope they put together a better studio version, because their take on Weird Autumn was basically perfect.
The level 7 [sp]Blood Boss[/sp] in Demon Tower is such a pain in the ass. [sp]You already have only four hitpoints which already makes it a difficult fight, add also the fact that you're on something of a timer, as the longer the fight goes, the less space you have to manuever.
In fact, I won twice but couldn't progress because the blood trail that it leaves blocked off the door. IMO it should dissipate after a while.[/sp]
I've been stuck on that level due to that boss for like 30 minutes. Easily the most difficult part of the minigame.
It takes me about 10-20 tries to get past the level with [sp]assassin boss.[/sp]
I had to play DemonTower 4 times before figuring out how to get the true ending :v:

[sp]The Assassin boss[/sp] isn't that difficult if you [sp]clear out the area by immediately going to the right. After killing the minions, you lead the boss to the blood river on the right, and just wait for it to hurt itself when it stops on it for massive damage.[/sp]
After the slog of the level 7 boss and the [sp]assassin spam[/sp] of level 8, the game becomes mercifully easy, IMO. Even [sp]the Blood Thief[/sp] is a cakewalk [sp]even though I died after killing him because I walked on his blood pool like an idiot.[/sp]

Apparently it's possible to mod cutscenes now.
It's produced some... interesting results. (Somewhat NSFW)

....................why
Not the modding part I mean, that's cool as all hell.
Completed my second playthrough, that was surprisingly fresh after the first three days or so, nice to get different perspectives on the characters. Also found a lot of side things I missed out on my first time so that was neat.
I've been looking for the slow build-up version of the Astral music, and while there are a couple variations, I found these to be my favorite.

Astral Alley in particular is really relaxing, especially that violin opening.

This week's Zero Punctuation is interrupted by Yahtzee saying how you should play Night in the Woods instead of the game he's reviewing that week.
I just finished it for the first time. I kinda [sp]wanted more from the ending. I mean it was basically just the third act of Hot Fuzz[/sp]
