someone made a mod that lets you create and play custom songs in the band practice minigame

however, all the beat lines and notes are actually aligned literally based on time in seconds, rather than some sort of midi-like tempo setting or anything of that sort
i am currently, painstakingly typing out the exact time in seconds/milliseconds of every single beat in rush's "yyz" and i haven't even gotten to the actual notes yet

Doctor Krieger would be so proud right now. And so am I. Two amazing things, blended together so well.
Is this game going to single handedly cause a resurgence in rhythm games?
The rhythm part of the game isn't really that great, it also only covers 1/20th of the entire game. And also this game is just not going to get to popular because the devs decided to target a very specific demo which consists of late teens and really young adults. Also some people just hate the characters because they really represent teens well and some people just don't have the patience to listen to characters that say UGH, jeez & like every time they talk which dictates there patience with the game and thats on top of all of the objectively wrong with the game like the occasional grammar errors ( I don't mean like Greg saying C U L8R, I mean that some some characters repeat words for no reason) and the excessive walks that should've been shorter. Games fine though.
I am kinda tempted to mod in Megalovania but somebody with more time on their hands and less issues with procrastinating like that while two weeks from their thesis deadline probably probably gonna do that by end of the week anyway.

I dunno I don't think they ever really died, they just had a period where they gained abnormal popularity thanks to guitar hero and then slowly faded back with the hard traditional core of games like DDR and Osu! being the only kinda thing people into this play.

It's funny because the way I see it the main purpose of the rhythm minigame was to allow the player experience the joy of participating on something fun and involved with others while kind of sucking at it yet still having a good time, which is kinda the essence of being a part of a band like that, I think. I don't think it would lead to a resurgence but maybe pull in a few of the people who are normally put off by the aforementioned DDR and Osu! being die hard competitive thing now realising that this can be fun even if you don't masterbate over your fantastic score.
To be honest, I found the band practice parts one of my least favorite parts of the game. Thankfully, there's only a few of them you have to go through and I don't think there's a serious penalty for completely flubbing them.
So I played and finished this game over the course of a few days. It is absolutely stunning, the music is fucking downright magical and the plot is refreshing.
It's a surprisingly smart story that knows how to take its time, like it takes a whole four hours before the plot really kicks up into full speed.
[sp]Gregg rulz ok[/sp]
I originally made this for a friend but I thought it'd be fun to post it here. Use it on Discord as an emote if you want.

Are there multiple endings?
Are there multiple endings?
You can change a few bits of it, but it's practically the same.
You get a different conversation with each character depending on who you hang out with.
What did the options at the start of the game (the biggest flood, haunted mill, etc) do?
[sp]Add some flavor text, as far as I know
doesn't seem like it really adds anything to the game and if it does, it is too subtle for me to notice[/sp]
Doesn't one of the [sp]news articles in on the micofiche explicitly mention ground gas buildup in basements of houses causing health issues including hallucinations in multiple residents?[/sp]
[Sp]In real life it could be radon
I have studied in mine, and worked in a niobium mine for some time as a miner, there could be multiple possibilities of gas in mine, methane gas is common in abandoned coal mine for exemple, mushroom and mold can be dangerous, niobium is nasty stuff and slighty radioactive. I dont remember if they said what kind of mine it was ingame.[/sp]

Does it say anything about a feline god living in the depths?
You might be more lucky to see hades or something.
Or severe case of black mold intoxication
Gotta say, I'm glad I gave this game a shot. Its so relate-able. In a depressing way. But still really enjoyable.

A tribute to one of my favorite moments in nitw. I'll be able to use it as my avatar someday..
Somehow felt this game is very short-lived.
Was great while it lasted tho
True that. I'm still game to see whatever the company makes next.
