oops that didn't automerge
I had no idea that last icon on the desktop was supposed to be casey I just assumed it was mae's and the away message was just her being weird
[sp]i love how the art style really plays into that revelation into mae's disassociation--seeing everything as just "shapes"[/sp]
This is too adorable.

There's some great stuff on their twitter, definitely worth looking into if you've beaten the game.
Gregg and Angus are the cutest couple I swear to god. Their personalities are so different, but it works so well.
Finally beat Demontower, fuckin christ that was hard.

When you're out in the field with [sp]your mom, when she asks what it looks like, Mae can say "a quilt" or "like someone dumped out a lot of blocks". Just shapes.[/sp] :dogsleep:
Man I beat this game days ago and there are still parts I get emotional thinking about.
I really can't praise the writing and characters enough.
Man, I wish this game had a chapter select. Don't get me wrong, I love soaking in the game's atmosphere and it's little details, but I'm on my 4th playthrough and I still haven't had a chance to hang out with Lori or Germ. Doesn't help that they both want to hang out on the same day either.
Im nearly sure hanging out with Lori doesnt advance the day / time or anything
Hanging with anyone outside of the main caste (excluding Germ) does not advance time.
On the subject of Germ, it's weird he shows up with the caste in the promotional art despite the minimal role he plays in the game.
Only hanging out with Bea or Gregg will advance the day.
Ninjerd
Oh damn, totally didn't know that! Alright, well at least I know I can hang with both of them next time.
Yea but it should be noted I'm like 99% sure there's a bug right now where hanging out with Lori before doing the second germ hangout causes the germ hangout to not be doable. It happened to me on my last run, i saw someone on the steam forum also report it, and I have a feeling this is why that second donut achievement for beating the game isn't unlockable (even tho literally one guy unlocked it anyways somehow lol. probably was one of the devs and they unlocked it on accident while using debug tools or somethin). I haven't had a chance to test it yet since I'm still waiting for the germ achievement to get fixed but if you're gonna try and do both I'd recommend hanging out with germ first before talking to Lori.
Honesty if you're thinking of doing another run you should just wait for the next patch.
So did anybody else notice that one glitched possum guy who has three arms that walks around town sometimes
Nope. I did notice the blue bird guy that gets a highlighted glow around his face everytime he blinks tho.
screencap the possum next time you see him tia
I found him

I think he's only supposed to tuck his arms in during the rainy days but the game doesn't remove the other one :v:
must be the town handyman
(also fyi email any bugs like that you find to support@finji.co I've already sent them about a dozen from the last patch so I'll let someone else have the honors of that one)
Germ casually walked through a wall once after a conversation but that could just be germ

Probably. He has a penchant for walking through stairs, too.
There's something rather enigmatic about Crenbird.
i was thinking about the game again, and just had to mention how well done the [sp]janitor's reveal[/sp] is. [sp]'i'm just here to fix a door'[/sp] gotta admit that one line blew me away a little bit. the writing in this game was so good.

Crenbird's good, but I always imagined he sounds like Vernon from Psychonauts.

Though I guess that's really not far off from Crendor is it? :v:

Maybe if facepunch sends enough in they'll grace us with some of the backer stuff.
Good game, I didn't super enjoy the dream sequences or the (really) slow bits, but for the most part the writing was good and there is a lot of detail and mystery that isn't spoonfed to you. I am sure I missed a ton of detail, but I think it's a great game worth playing.
I liked the dream sequences but I wish there was a bit more to them than surreal hide and seek
I liked them I just wish I figured out sooner what the purpose of the lamps was (they put a glow on the edge of your screen when you stand under them that show you what direction the nearest band member is). Maybe then I wouldn't have spent so much time wandering around lol but whatever the music was ace.
Is there a secret to [sp]the ghostly wolf figure sitting and smoking in your dreams? They're in every one of them but you can't interact with them[/sp]

there's a broken achievement right now that shows that dude in a window and he shows up in at least two dreams that I've seen, so people are thinking maybe you're supposed to find him in each dream to get an achievment. doesn't matter either way for now tho since the achievement won't unlock regardless.

well doesn't have the pipe so idk. it's all i can think of anyways for it
also am I the only person that missed the scene with the three goth kids where they tell you about the 3 pentagrams? The game keeps referencing that conversation all the time but I've never had it lol. Still got the achievement for finding them all anyways.
Probably late to this but [sp]during the visit to the historical museum, when Gregg is lockpicking the 2nd elevator you can still use the other one and go upstairs all the way back to the map room, where Gregg'll teleport to you and the whole sequence will be reset (though if you go back to the entrance he'll just magic the door open.[/sp]
You can somehow [sp](I've no idea how to reproduce really) clip through the platform by the frozen water in the first dream sequence, if you walk further left after clipping you fall down the map outside of bounds and restart the whole ordeal.[/sp]

[sp]I managed to die on a sequence without failure states. Magical[/sp]

I managed to do that on my first playthrough as well, I was so confused :v:
