The only thing I wish they'd done differently for this was made it so the city wasn't so heavily instanced. Even if each area was just like 15-20 people running around it'd feel a lot better than running around solo.
I can queue with you anytime if you want, my UPlay name is Shenesis. I mostly play solo but I just came back from a game with someone playing Survival for the first time. He got downed after we passed a landmark but I didn't have a Medkit so I had to fight off the landmark enemies, go craft a Medkit and then revive the guy in the span of 3 minutes, but when I came back it was too late, he died and left without saying anything  In the end I was the only player left in the lobby and I got my ass kicked by a Hunter because I didn't have Pulse and I only had automatic weapons.
Found some rando on the reddit Division server to play with. Played two matches, second one took longer than the first. :v: Between the two he dragged me along to kill three or four world bosses for better gear. Went from gear level 108 to 274 in ~4 hours. E: Actually it was three. We lost one, both died. I couldn't find a medkit for a revival and then I got merced by a purple.
Do a lot of people still play the DLC modes? I really liked survival, just wasn't sure if it was still going or not.
Do a lot of people still play the DLC modes? I really liked survival, just wasn't sure if it was still going or not.
survivals usually the one where it takes a while to find a match, I can find a last stand or underground match in less then a minute most of the time
oh man i sure do love 4 man gank squads
oh man i sure do love 4 man gank squads
Thats what happened to me the second I tried to extract some crap stuff the first time I ever entered dz9 earlier today. Didn't even make a dent in them. In fact I seem to have a hell of a time just killing rogues in the first place.

Even then, I'd only extract in zones where there is an elevated position where I can hide and look over the extraction rope.
Just reinstalled for the first time since I hit 30. Gear score is like 160. I don't have the dlc but what's my next move/grind? Where do I begin to get all the better weapons and where do I coop? It's been a while that I've just about forgotten most of the important end game stuff.
If you just want to grind your gearscore up, Lexington is definitely a really easy way to grind it up. Underground 3-phase is also great imo the best way to get great gear though is through superior G.E caches. I've gotten the house and countless classified and exotics from it only issue is that you can only get them during global events
i reinstalled and tried to matchmake for resistance, did this for an hour with 2 play sessions and got no bites, then tried skirmish and none of my guns did any damage and i died really quickly dang
Huh, pretty sure people are still doing resistance. You can get classified gear sets from it so people grind it.

The fastest way to grind the exotics and classifieds right now is to spam Resistance carrier and open the container in Bay 2 Be fast enough and you could probably net 1 or 2 classifieds per run per 30 mins
Started this again! I'm level 30 and have no clue what I'm doing. Just tried to get a supply drop and was steamrolled. Bit out of practice!

You'd want to reach Tier 5 and have a relatively alright gear score (270-ish) before delving back in since most stuff is balanced around that. The fastest way to get a higher gear score would be to keep re-doing older missions on harder difficulties to get more gear, OR have a friend who is already at Tier 5 to invite you to a group and go around killing named mobs around the world, and have him give you the drops, since those drops are going to be Tier 5 gear scored.

[editline]5th January 2018[/editline] Don't bother with last stand unless you really, really like PVP
I bought the season pass so I'll get on with that! I think my Ubi name is HezzyUK in case anyone wants to add me. You can add me on Steam too
How do you farm challenging underground solo without op shit like classified predators? I'm trying to go for classified Lone Star and the only way to beat it for me is to have cleaners as the enemy.

As long as you have a strong SMG, you can mow down enemies and take no damage while doing it.
Is there a discord or steam group or something for setting up Incursions and stuff with FP players? If not it'd be nice if someone set one up, I'd like to do some Heroic incursions with people who actually know how to play the game :v:

Which is why I'll set one up right now just so we can see how many people here are playing it. https://discord.gg/BfJama

At Tier 5 you have people who are min/maxed with their steamroller builds. People at 291 or 292 gear score with perfect rolls vs someone who just walked in with random 256 gear... Not a chance. But anything someone's running under 256 is probably random, so you'll be on equal footing [editline]5th January 2018[/editline]
How do you farm challenging underground solo without op shit like classified predators? Just some health for a cushion, the ability to fall back if you need to, and some DPS. 350k dps is more than enough to melt even gold enemies and isn't difficult to get. 300k at all is good enough for most things I can confirm though that if you have 6pc Nomads then PvE content is pure trivial. It just makes you God
Dunno how optimized it is, but even my scrapped together Nomad+D3 7k stamina build can tank a ridiculous amount of 4 player Heroic Riker damage that I can even forget that my shield has limited hp at times. [editline]6th January 2018[/editline] Tank builds in general are so fucking fun
Got myself up to about 204 gear score... Still haven't come across a G36! Bought some premium credits as well but haven't been credited yet
Is The House as good as everyone says it is?

Where are you? Dark Zone?
Where are you? Dark Zone?
Underground, challenging mission
Ambush is active, a new Global Event. When you're in combat, being stationary fills a bar which when full gives you a lot of extra damage. It doesn't sound very exciting, but cover to cover movement fills the bar in the same way as standing still or being in cover, so you're far from stationary and more than able to carry the full damage bonus wherever you go. It's a good way to get the most out of shotguns without certain gear sets and for learning to use cover to cover to completely juke incoming fire. You need to be at level 30 for the extra mission modifiers, but it's active across all PvE content, including against NPCs in the Dark Zone, Underground, Resistance and Survival (which makes you level 30 for each session anyway, so it's always active in that mode). If you can find a group which isn't trying to complete the commendations for Dragon's Nest or other Incursions on World Tier 5 the extra damage can help you all out.
I think I've heard "Negative, Ramos" about 20 times now and only have 1 classified Firecrest piece
I played this game at launch and I want to play it again, do I have to buy a shitload of expansions to get up to speed???
