I've been playing it nonstop every night with my friends since we tried it with the free weekend.
It's one of those games that is really boring to play alone but is amazing to play with a team
Here's a tip for higher level people who hit level 30:
DZ is garbage for getting loot
Play missions on Challenging, World Tier 5, and you get much better loot+much more loot
Only reason I play DZ is because its a lot funner playing with randoms, grouping up and hoping nobody betrays you
I started playing and got to level 14 in the free weekend. Had a fucking blast playing and now after buying the game I think it's nearly safe to say I'm gonna pick up the DLC as well, if not the entire season pass.
I needed another really good third-person shooter that wasn't Lost Planet 2 (I know of only like fucking 12 people that play that game anymore) and this happened to be my saving grace. I'm so glad I found it.
Bought the gold edition with a friend during the free weekend and I really like what I've seen so far. Only went into the DZ after doing all the campaign when I had a gear score of 163. It's probably rubbish for loot like someone said but I've been steadily increasing my gear score with it and it's pretty damn challenging. Haven't met a single rogue so far, I don't see how that would ever be worth it.

nothing really matters until you hit 256, that's when you have to start min maxing and re-rolling talents on stuff

I can imagine, I've been enjoying my time with it so far nontheless.
Oh hey, a Division thread. Add XxPHantomfox if you like getting wiped on the 3rd part of an Underground mission because the last guy didn't have recovery link.
I spent an entire week at level 19 DZ when I started playing a couple of months ago. It was really fun compared to when you finally hit 256 where 8-man gank squads become a thing. :v:
Got and played a few rounds of Survival yesterday. Not sure I like how fast the Cold creeps in on you but other than that it's pretty fun. Managed to extract on my third attempt and got like 7 caches to open
i dont have any of the DLC's yet, are they worth it?
Underground is not but survival is pretty fun.
Looted so many clothing boxes and shit, still not found a single scarf.

I managed to find my first two scarves in two closets that were right next to each other a few hours ago, funny how getting a couple of scarves ended up being one of the most exciting moments in the game so far. (and I'm liking the game too)

Survival is definitely worth it imo.
So, I bought the game on Christmas Eve and have been playing fairly non-stop. I just reached level 30 and immediately moved to world tier 1. That may have been a mistake.
My two roommates and I picked this up back in late summer and had a blast playing it but we eventually moved on after completing the campaign and some good sessions in the DZ. Stopped playing it after that really and then I heard about a couple months ago they did a revamp with a lot of stuff and started to ignite our interest to get back in but we haven't yet and with the news of survival, I think we might grab that and jump back on since Underground didn't seem so interesting. Since the bump in this thread it seems everyone's look on it is a lot more positive so after I get back from vacation I'll probably jump back on with my roommates. If you're on ps4 and looking to jump in, my psn is JuanTacoPlz

You should buy the season pass now while its on sale for $20, and underground is OK if you group up to grind with people from the division discord. Also you would be able to test last stand in the ptr when they set it up
Theres a discord? :v:

Had the game since launch, but only got to level 25 before dropping it because of overwatch. Bought the season pass on sale and reached level 30, now I'm iLevel 163 and working my way up.

Haven't tried survival or underground yet. What's the next DLC supposed to be?

Last stand, pretty much a firefight mode similiar to that of the halo games
It's ridiculous how much better the game looks with neutral lighting turned on.

That's very much a matter of opinion, room lighting, and brightness of monitor.
Boy i sure do love it when i doubletap my flashbang button while looking at an enemy and it somehow comes out sideways and blows up in my cover

i love it when i get gangbanged by a group of portuguese kids in the dark zone
What's the best way to get better gear? I beat the story and have been doing the Underground stuff, I've been stuck using a burst fire FAL for the past 5 hours. I hate burst fire weapons but nothing I've found comes close in damage to this FAL.

daily missions on challenging

completing your daily/weekly assignments, running missions on challenging, using funds on basic sealed caches
i've rarely got a large amount of funds since i just splurge out on basic sealed caches since those give phoenix coins
Survival would be much less annoying if a lone fumigator wasn't able to snipe me through the fog when neither of us should be able to see the other and insta-down me from 1 bar of health (due to having to take fall damage to get out of an area).
I've reached the anti-virals twice and both times I've run into 10 man enemy groups literally a street away with absolutely no chance of fighting back. I seem to be the first guy getting to the dark zone too, though, which is weird.

Anti-virals almost always have a group of enemies nearby or even on top of it, sometimes it can be a small 3 man squad poking around and it can go all the way up to a 15 man rape battalion of rikers like I once had the (dis)pleasure of dealing with solo.
And most people usually only go into the DZ once they're fully kitted out with purples, which is a waste of time since you can get through most street firefights with blues if you are not an idiot, or greens if you REALLY know what you're doing and REALLY ballsy.
Atleast you get dibs on all the div tech you find if you know where to look for it.
