Yandere Simulator: She's talking to Senpai. That's unacceptable Edition

I think it should just be a minigame like the Castlevania minigame if he wants to do it, don't make it part of the main game.
I wish he wasn't so Ornery about emails, because this is the point where I would say Stop adding features like this at random, make each new feature flow into the next, and improve exisiting features.
A schoolgirl coming to a loan shark place alone and beating everybody there up sounds idiotic, even by anime standards. Also walking around town and beating people up, I thought this was more of a stealth game not a beat em up.
Can't wait until he puts guns in the game
Especially since you'd think it'd get Yandere-chan in more spotlight and potential trouble if, even if she learned the martial arts skills appropriate for it all, she went around beating the shit out of delinquents and loansharks. It's a game where there's a suspension of disbelief because of countless anime tropes abound, but apparently in-universe the school tries to keep authorities out of its hair; nothing really would justify getting away with that around the town.
Besides, it also doesn't fit with the consequences of the previous method. Kidnapping and traumatizing someone means that you can't just play matchmaker or be a hero and make everybody happy with no problems; people around you will break because of your actions, even if they don't have to die. By just going into town and beating up the loansharks for this one situation, unless it had long-term effects, you're beating up and non-lethally dealing with a bunch of nobodies for completionism. It sort of takes away from the impact of such a decision.

Yeah, because Yandere-Chan can beat up adult men but she can't wrestle herself out of a Teacher's grasp or can't beat up any of the delinquents. As has been continually reinforced again and again.

The delinquents are because they're fucking super saiyan baseball knockers right now (and packing weapons to boot). But with the training you'll be able to take on teachers and have a better chance against 'heroic' students that would fight you on witnessing a murder. I mean, it makes sense in an anime environment for a trained character to be able to do such feats, Yandere-chan's working on implausible weight and height ratio already. But it's still an idea way too quickly tossed into the open field out of appreciating an underrated series that is pretty much built around such gameplay, compared to what this game's about and the sheer effort it'd need to be implemented.

This wasn't a matter of his programming. That was time spent waiting for his animators and voice actors to finish their parts on the cutscene.

Props to him for listening and owing up to the criticism.

Yeah, I like the way it is now. Yandere isn't super saiyan, she can usually overpower some of the weaker girls but for anyone of significant strength or size she had to train herself in order to beat them. Seems plausible for a teenage girl, that if they are really determined and condition themselves they can beat someone with enough training.
But the new idea seemed like it was going to turn it into more of a run around and beat up loan sharks sort of thing. So if you could knock an adult male into submission, put his head in a doorway and smash his face in the door, than why would a teacher be more of a challenge?
I think a majority of the current features have been planned out well and will be good, adding anything else especially before finishing or polishing the other stuff sort of unbalances everything and muddies the water.

You gotta wonder if neighbors of that voice actress called the police after she did 5:54.

Okay, the scream at 5:57 was the first thing in this game that actually made me feel uncomfortable. All of the other elimination methods have been pretty brutal, but I've been able to enjoy them due to their juxtaposition with the bright anime art style. That scream was just so raw, though.

Don't worry, she only lost 10 reputation for that.

while the inventory system itself is cool in concept, goddamn is that going a bit overboard on fanservice in your face
He already mentioned months ago that he was going to replace the current inventory system, don't say this came out of nowhere.
Mehhhhhhhhhhh, model is too basic to think bad about it, specially with that static color, brightness up to eleven and no details at all. Plus, it could be useful to check which panties you're wearing (since you can still change them at home for the bonus).
How do you censor panties though? How does this change anything?

I don't know how I should feel about this. On the one hand it fits the game, makes sense(I really don't think anbody would check your skirt for anything) and is pretty funny to boot.
On the other hand, explaining this game to someone just went from ridiculously difficult to nearly impossible.
He should avoid having the panties be visible on the inventory screen as anything other than a hammerspace icon, having the game actively show a camerashot is going to give alllllll the wrong implications for what the game's intents are.
Like, I imagine that it wasn't his original intent, but it ends up coming across as perverse.
Maybe it would be better off if it was a silhouette of Yandere-Chan?
So this is YandereDev's solution to the potential problems that could arise from this new inventory system...
[t]http://funkyimg.com/i/2dbA3.png[/t]
yeah okay that works
I have a solution, how about a regular menu inventory like most other games.
I have a solution, how about a regular menu inventory like most other games.
A normal inventory!?
You're speaking the language of demons!
As pervy as it is I think it's rather fitting considering the game kinda satires a lot of anime tropes, but I can understand people not wanting the panties visible. I think blocking it with the menu is kind of a funny idea
I'd like to see it in practice though first

That's boring tho.
That's boring tho.
I guess I should have added while in development, because that's what I meant by using a normal menu. I'm not against the idea, in fact I think it's fitting for the game, but this is the kind of thing you should do later in development when you already have most of the game done.
Imo, it's just another example of how Yandere Dev really doesn't know how to manage himself during the development. The guy is too ambitious without focusing on the things he should focus on, like actual gameplay.
[editline]22nd June 2016[/editline]
See, he definitely has a really nice concept for the game and I can't wait to see the final product eventually, but I've noticed he keeps adding more and more side stuff and rarely things that will actually complete the gameplay.
It's been more than 2 years since he started development, and you still can't kill a rival in the alpha yet.

I dont neccesarily think him doing the equipment system now is a bad idea, cuz he's stated he kinda despises how he's had it implemented for awhile. This will probably help him focus on how he can balance inventory management for the game and stuff.
Besides that though I agree with you, though I think we're getting to the good part soon.
