"This is the way I originally imagined the pantie selection screen."
Probably the best line ever recorded to audio ever.

This is gonna be interesting
Would anybody pay full retail price for this? It's fucked up, but there's just so much care and work put into this.

I would. I still play Hitman: Blood Money all the time and am a huge sucker for similar games.
Are they really good games? I've heard of them but never looked into it.
Are they kinda like Metal gear or Splinter Cell?

There is no game like Hitman. It's the only stealth game I can think of where you can walk through a crowd and not draw attention. You goal isn't to not be seen, it's to not be noticed. It's like, Splinter Cell and Thief are about being shadows, Metal Gear is about being a chameleon, but Hitman is about being a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Hitman: Codename 47 is pretty much a third person shooter with some mild social stealth.
Hitman: Silent Assassin is much more of a stealth focused game but the AI can be somewhat paranoid.
Hitman: Contracts was the first game to perfect the social stealth gameplay. (and is my favourite)
Hitman: Blood Money focused on having more open ended levels.
Hitman: Absolution tried to fix the gameplay systems of the series with mixed results. It has a seriously flawed disguise system, but also has the best gunplay in the series. (Many people don't like this one but I think they're too harsh on it)
A big part of Hitman is the emphasis on freedom to approach your objectives how you want with a focus on professionalism. You can snipe, strangle, poison, and crush you targets, or arrange for them to have convenient 'accidents', and you can get the best rank doing any of them provided you don't get caught.

Also if this plays like Hitman Contracts or Blood Money I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
That sounds like a lot of fun, I see why a lot of people compare Hitman to this.
I saw a part of the new trailer and that looked pretty cool too, thanks you've convinced me to play them.

Good timing too because the entire series is on sale right now on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/49903/
Thanks for telling me man, but I can't now. I'll probably pick it up next sale or something.

Looks like the YandereDev's considering expanding the scope of the game, an open world Yandere Simulator might be pretty interesting

The panties part, oh my sides :v:
Also, the fingers when using the phone camera, jesus fucking christ
Open world would be pretty neat if he can accomplish it without compromising on the gameplay
I can just imagine the fun to be had stalking your opponents and following them to home to kill them or taking them to a dark alley or something
So, out of curiosity, I downloaded this and started playing. I think its broken though.. Only girl I'm suppose to kill stands there and I can't interact with her at all.
can he just make a kickstarter because I'm gonna give money for this honestly
can he just make a kickstarter because I'm gonna give money for this honestly
he's going to once he has something more presentable
I think he can get away with adding a small town and some fast travel locations without having to compromise so much, not every building has to be enterable and interiors can be reused. The idea of having each person at school having their own home and being able to stalk them to it would be a massive addition to gameplay. Hell add in abandoned buildings or rental places which you can use for abductions or corpse disposal, adding in just a small town would expand gameplay massively.

The dev build is just to screw around with the mechanics, the actual objective isn't there yet, you basically just do whatever you want right now without big consequences
Hell imagine a river or something being added in, floating corpses anyone?
When he does have a kickstarter, wouldn't he have remove most out the easter eggs because of copyright infringement?

He could have a Persona 3 kind of map where you can go to key areas around the place via train. That way he could have multiple environments without having to create an open world.

Something like that is what I had in mind, like main hub is the town + school, then any additional areas require like taxi, bus, train or a fast travel tunnel to get to.

I believe YandereDev said that the Easter Eggs are only in these devs build and won't be included in the full sold product
They would already be removed in the end
Oh, that's a shame. I especially liked the Punished Yandere-chan one.
Hopefully since these dev builds are out, someone could back port them into retail or something
Well The easter eggs could be still be there sans songs...
I didn't realize we already had a thread for this, maybe you guys will appreciate the modified april fools trailer I did earlier this year.

I think that the game should have a peaceful way of getting senpai's attention and stuff, and at the end game screen the game congratulates you for doing the hardest way to beat the game, but at the same time chastises you for doing the boring and normal way of getting senpai's attention.
There's a peaceful-ish way to get his attention being planned out right now I think that involves spreading rumors about your weekly rival until it gets to the point that they drop out of school or commit suicide.
A no-kill run would be ridiculously difficult and boring, but it could probably be done
