Yandere Simulator: She's talking to Senpai. That's unacceptable Edition - Games

Im pretty sure that you dont have to get the artists permission, thats the whole point of fair use, isnt it? But I dont know how it goes with giving credit

Fair use means for reviews, parodies etc. It's basically about transformative work, but it's a grey zone at best. However the shit this cunt in particular is doing is plagerizing. He traces the work and claims it as his own. He's stealing other people's work.

At least give a little "inspired by: blank; check them out on deviant art!" That took zero effort. I really want Yandere Sim to do well, since it's an interesting concept, but the execution is looking really lousy.

It's looking more and more likely that people are going to be conned in the long run by this dev and that this game is never going to reach a gold release in an appreciable amount of time. If he can't even put in the effort to create his own character designs for [i]DLC concepts[/i] on a game that keeps getting sidetracked with ideas that keep delaying progress on developing the base game (such as spending a ton of time creating the visuals for his videos. They may look pretty, but you have to realize that any hour spent working on a video could have been an hour toward the game itself), then it's pretty apparent that he is apathetic toward the project and exploiting the donations by his fans. I actually was very curious about this game since it delves into relatively uncharted territory, but one must also remember that a developer can be shifty and trick people to believe in them under the guise of good concept. (Inafune comes to mind.) I wish Seasons of Love the best at their progress, because what YandereDev needs the most right now is the pressure that he may completely lose out on a goldmine if they manage to progress past his current build, which isn't unreasonable considering Yandere Simulator is only at the current, roughly-alpha state after development for [i]3 years[/i].

Truth to be told I never bother playing yet the game cause I want to play a more "complete" version, but some hints for the past of Yandere-Chan are in the game. I think the whole thing is a giant experiment related with the myth of the tree.

I think this whole thing is a giant example experiment related to the depths of unneeded stuff. I mean my god people remember the surprise ghost dude from Hitman (Blood Money I think) because it was a clever easter egg and background detail, not a actual character

That being said, the first thing I noticed when I returned to this thread aside from certifieds weird hateboner for the term FUD, is that the game really hasn't been coming that far along, especially considering all the drama that was occurring the last time I was here in regards to what the dev is doing with his free time. Very concerned for this project, which is a shame because it's a game I'd totally at least place [I]once.[/I] Like that whole art drama above is pretty damn shady, it's definitely casting some [I]doubt[/I] for me to whether or not he can actually manage this project successfully, which is something I've always been somewhat concerned about.

If anything, dissapointment in development will save people from feeling much when it actually comes out And if it actually turns out good, those who have been negative will have a better feeling over it in the end than hyped fans will have if the product actually goes downhill I'd rather take a negative look and being pleasantly surprised, or just sit there and say "I told you so"

It's weird that we are near the second anniversary of the thread being made and yet the game is still in the same old boat. Same old town ideas, same old models.
