His latest post about the easter eggs made me think... He started making them back then when he worked for [I]many [B]hours [/B]and [B]times [/B]of his day[/I] to ~avoid [I]breaking[/I]~. Why would he keep doing them anyways, now that he gets an average of 3~4 hours every day dedicated to videogames? And that's to cool down from the [I]job [/I]he does going on reddit, making useless videos spoiling the story/eliminations/ whining about whatever, contacting fans and not signing contracts... Oh yeah, and coding.

Never liked Yandere Simulator as a name but fuck me if Seasons of Love ain't way worse.

Always was fond for the name "Lovesick" for this.

It's honestly an absolutely missed opportunity that not one of these kind of games is called "Love Hurts".

Instead of having the love interest getting all the girls in a week of some forever spring time loop like in YS, Seasons of Love revolves around sections of rivals in the various seasons like winter, fall etc. In theory that means that they could do some interesting season specific events/Elims or something along those lines, but I honestly don't know.

I thought the whole ordial was to find out [as players] why the heck Yandere-chan was like this in the beginning. I thought it was a major plot poont for the game... Throw in the mix a mysterious girl helping Yandere-chan for some reason, her 8[?] rivals who must get rid off, a ghost, a dimensional crazy girl, a strange principal who maybe have bigger role in the story, Yandere's family history....demons and you have at least something to look for in the dinal version of the game as I do.

The real question is why she doesn't feel emotions? Sure, her mother was[is?] similar when she was younger, so it is something who is running inside their family? I strongly believe it have something to do with the freaking tree the game mention all the time.

Duck tapes the game with features to delay the inevitable and has someone else to do that grind instead.

I'm pretty skeptical, but tbh, I can kind of buy his excuses. I'd like to hope he will actually start making progress now. It kind of sounds like Tinybuild is actually pushing him somewhere but we'll see

That honestly kinda explains a lot about his behavior. I can't say I blame him for losing focus like that if he had to wait that long, since I've experienced the same kinda thing before. I do think he really should have worked on that first though instead of putting it off so long and shouldering that onto someone else, but at least something is happening. As one of the 2 people in this thread who isn't entirely dead on the game, I'm excited to see if this yields more progress.
