Yandere Simulator: She's talking to Senpai. That's unacceptable Edition - Games

I also hope for the game to be made. However I will admit I am not so hype as I used to be for the game. But at the same time I don't want to be so negative like many users here. We don't even know how the final results would be to judge it like a full game. As far I know most people enjoy a free game which is playable and it have many contents. Let's see how awesome/terrible will be the "Proof of Concept" Demo would be and then judge the developer.

Out of all things, a game called [URL="http://store.steampowered.com/app/589590/Kindergarten/"]Kindergarten[/URL] does a very good job at getting the whole of social-interaction, time, and resource management done right, I feel. It's not precise in game play form, but the close-linking of events and actor interactions is done on such a deep level, that YS dev can learn quite a bit from it. If you know, he would then actually direct his attention to proper things.

I think the YandereDev enjoy SO MUCH making update video that feels like he done drugs while talking in the videos. Btw, didn't he made like a 2-part video telling us what he want to do like in Persona 5?

It's something he probably could have reasoned in his head was productive, but really was just a way he could put off working on the game since he wasn't enjoying it. He did make two videos about p5. I enjoyed watching it, cuz I enjoy his analysis of games (like his hitman analysis) and relevant features he can draw inspiration from. That being said, i think he got too excited to talk about P5, cuz really didn't need to make two videos, and a lot of his discusssion points could have been simplified by a lot.

Even if he made a ton of update videos, I remember clearly he offered a lot of small or even major updates to thengame.

This can be really cool...but I see your point. As I said before, YandereDev seems to LOVE to make update videos with new ideas. So let's guess for the next update video what other idea will see: - Yandere Ghosthunter, related with the already known ghost girl, but with other type of ghost as well. - Yandere Fighting in Tournaments if she join the Dojo Club. - More complicate cleaning mechanics, like removing shards of broken teeth or even call for a clener if you have a Yakuza connection. - Crossover characters which make sense in the world of the game....I guess? - Also Zombies.

With a title like that video had, it could have been about Yakuza [I]combat[/I] instead. For what matters, if he goes through with this there would already be a significant amount of common code with Info-Chan in place for it to be built on rather than being from scratch. That said, if you're wondering "who even was asking for this?" there's a poll that has about just over 200,000 votes in favor of it.

Yandere Simulator's design goals grow every month like it's a Kickstarter project that got greedy with stretch goals, except there's even [I]less[/I] of a chance that it'll ever actually implement this shit fully.

The issue is that this completely changes the kind of personality Yandere-chan has now based on what we know of her. Before, she was just a psychotic, insane individual who didn't have the mental capacity to understand the moral consequences of murder, which gives the sense that you are playing as someone who is literally crazed for love. Now, the vibe given is that she is a savvy, evil manipulator who will stop at nothing to bend the school to her will using mafiosoesque ties and her ability to be able to train herself to become capable of taking down individuals far larger than she is, which makes her seem more like a gangster than just a morally-corrupt individual with conscience issues. That more enigmatic sense of insanity rather than being a calculated evil was one of the bigger draws of the game.

For a time I considered myself interested in this game coming soon. Then I realized that all he has to do is release this game and put these "ideas" in future patches which I hear is a popular route. As time goes on it feels obvious he's getting wayyy too ambitious for a simple game about getting the attention of your love interest. For a game about a unhinged teen she's apparently smarter than she looks if she has connections to the freaking Japanese mafia!
