Yandere Simulator: She's talking to Senpai. That's unacceptable Edition

Ok, holy shit, I don't even opened to see the next video cause I am at work, but this is gruesome even for my taste by only looking the picture.
Also something else to add:
I played "Yandere School" recently. It was ok, but one of the interesting unique thing it add was [sp]male "rivals".
At some point, after you killed two girls rivals, your next enemies are two boys which trying to make your Senpai join the baseball team because he have talent and leave his search for love [I guess?].[/sp]
So I was wondering if something similar can see in Yandere Simulator. I mean, YanderDev talking for so many complicate addictions he wish to accomplice, but never thought of this simple idea.
Jesus Christ.
I wonder if the person drawing these images is loaded at this point. I wonder how that request went.
Yeah that thumbnail and the full image is teetering on bad taste. Ugh I hope the next one isn't worse than that.
It kinda scares me that not a single comment i've glanced over on that video seems to make any mention of the thumbnail
Are people just this used to these things?
Because jesus christ i can't have that stay on my screen for longer than a second
Not from a standpoint of not being able to handle it but more that it's a bit much for something that people might happen to spot somewhere
[editline]2nd October 2017[/editline]
I mean i'll feel bad for anyone who can't handle these things who might just have it pop up recommended somewhere
Uhhhhh, I think yanderedev's sanity has taken a turn for the worse. Plus if twitch team saw the video they honestly would have said "Fuck yeah we made the right decision"
Edit: I mean for Pete's sake I think psychotic Anime characters are fine. That thumbnail crosses a line for me.
Yandev, what the fuck. This is legitimately sickening, and I've gotten desensitized to most shit on the internet.
That thumbnail is fucking crossing the line. If the video got taken down over that I wouldn't be surprised. Hell, I'd even support it. Shit's even worse in the video. Intestines on another plate? Basket full of body parts? Really? Do we really have to go that fucking far? Last time I saw gore like this was when I stumbled upon the ED page for "Mai-chan's Daily Life".
Does he just not care what people think anymore? Has his baffling fanbase of teenage girls gotten him so insulated he's forgotten what makes for sensible levels of violence?
That thumbnail is distasteful and sickening so I reported the video. Let's see if anything happens in the next couple of days.
[editline]1st October 2017[/editline]
I hope this doesn't put a target on my back
Ehh, I think you guys may be overreacting a little bit.
That art is nothing, come on. Brains, intestines (totally separated from a body), and a non-graphic severed arm? That's Halloween costume-tier stuff. No way is it worse than "most shit on the internet".
You didn't bat an eye when the game gained the mechanic where you can use a circular saw to cut people into pieces and carry around their bleeding body parts, so I don't really understand how this art is the tipping point for you. The game has always been about manipulating and killing others in horrible ways. It was inevitably going to be gruesome. I'm not sure what you were expecting.
I would've thought that getting past the whole "high-school-aged serial killer brutally murders other minors at her school" setting meant you were past being appalled by whatever this game does.
Some people are definitely overreacting (if you haven't seen worse content than that in your days you haven't braved the internet enough) but you guys have to admit it's much darker than anything else that's been in the game. I mean cutting up people after killing them is standard murder game affair, it wouldn't be too out of place in a game like Hitman.
But the artwork featured in that video is more than just "brains, intestines and non-graphic severed arm." It's straight up implied cannibalism and for a game that skirts around so much fetish content, including copious, unnecessary gore artwork just gives a real creepy impression.
Basically the dude has enough problems dealing a balance with this game and the creepy vibes, he did not need to make it worse by including basically guro in one of his promotional youtube videos.
Someone who follows the game more closely feel free to correct me, though. Has the game ever dabbled in content this messed up before? I know it's just a picture, but still.
You're right, I didn't think about the implied cannibalism aspect. That would be treading on new ground for this game and I can see how some may think of that as unnecessary or going too far.
However, nobody else brought that up when they were reacting to it, just that it was gore. All I can say in regard to that is, as someone who's watched every video Yandev has posted up to this point, it didn't surprise me or seem like an excessive amount of gore. There's already been plenty of bloody concept art showcased for this game. This is just the first one that has severed body parts in it, which is something that the game itself already features.
I just find it rather odd to use such imagery as a thumbnail, considering just about anyone can come across it
Don't even play the game, but the dev seems nice.

New halloween video or whatever.

i remember being excited for this when it was announced because it seemed like a fun hitman clone
then hitman 2016 came out and this became obsolete
Late as fuck bump with some old news, but remember Seasons of Love? The C+ Yandere Sim that could?
I mean if you look at the original concept art for the protagonist of the other game, along with the 2 tech demos the dev put out before the project imploded, it didn't really look as 'soulless' as you make it out to be.

And that first concept then evolved into this character right here that the 3d model would have been based on (as you could see in the last pages video about it)

It got canned. For real this time
HOWEVER! there's a community rewrite of the main game in development as of last month!
https://www.reddit.com/r/yandere_simulator/comments/7qc6ox/openyandere_an_opensource_community_rewrite_of/
Called it. There was no real soul behind it and it only existed out of spite. Thing was doomed from the start.
Hey look a bump:
While the thread was kaput, the dev has been throwing out updates to characters, more features, more exposition dumps, and doing more streams.
The tinybuild coder left/got fired due to disagreements on the code, and of course he hasn't even changed the "what : if " coding mess. But one question still remained.
Where is Osana?
So he made a video about it. Where he does the standard "It'll be done when it's done blah blah blah I wanna hire coders"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NdvDmzoyZc&t=3s
Except this time, there's been a bit of a undercurrent of anger that has been asking for this game to come out in the next generation or so. So, the dev does what naturally deescalates shitstorms:
(This was the original description on the day he locked the comments (IE: like 3 hours in). Since then he has changed it to save face)
https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/213440/7778d49c-c3d0-410a-8d1d-34f41c775989/image.png
Then, a few days later, in response to more anger and reddit/4chan shitstorming, he makes another video, talking about how long it takes to make a game.
https://youtu.be/5psGWTE5PwY
Here's the highlights, in rough order:
1.Games take a long time to make
2.Other games like BoTW, Owlboy and Undertale took a long time to make.
3.My game (Yandere Simulator) is gonna be Breath of the Wild tier
4."It's gonna be MORE COMPLEX THAN HITMAN (2016) AND PERSONA 5 WHEN IT'S DONE"
5.My game is gonna be the best quality when it's done, because it's been in development for a long, long time
6.I would work harder on it, if I had more (VOLUNTEER) programmers, coders, modelers etc.
7.I can't work harder on it, since people are being mean/rude to me
And finally the most important point:
https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/213440/aece5f2b-2dbc-401d-8d6c-a402c7457458/image.png
Now, since THAT video, he's:
-Locked down the fuck out of his discord, removing all permissions from EVERYONE EXCEPT HIS TWITCH SUBS/MODS
-Purged a bit of his twitter
-(Allegedly) ranted on /v/ again and stirred the beehive
-gotten villianized on Reddit
-enable autoban bots running on his twitch and his discord with game-specific certain terms
And it seems like it's gonna keep escalating until he straight up finishes it, cancels it, or runs off with the cash.
GJ YandereDev, you actually done fucked up.

This game is really ballooning into a real disaster isn't it?
The shear amount of ideas the guy has, there has to be a stop, right?
It's either that or he keeps on adding onto the pile and it all becomes one huge mess of a release.
