Wow... that's just bullshit.
YandereDev is now asking Twitch to respond to him, why... But big feeling it will be reversed.

Would've been an interesting approach, but after seeing Vlambeer's work pace conjoined with Yandev's already swamped schedule, I think that'd slow him down considerably if he felt obligated to adhere to some streaming schedule and have it be reasonable for him to interact with the chat instead of it being a stoical stream of him diligently working while the chat goes to shit as twitch chat usually does. The man simply doesn't seem like he has the time to dedicate to juggle all of that at once unless it were a spur of the moment thing he wanted to show off, but again that feels like it'd bog down his productivity since the time to set things up could be utilized to create a video where he addresses the content he's worked on instead as he's been doing on a consistent basis with proper editing and the opportunity to script the presentation in advance.

This might be a blessing in disguise for Yandere Dev in term of time management but it's still bullshit. Someone on twitter posted this:

While I agree that the hypocrisy is quite bullshit, that image is misrepresenting the hypocrisy at hand to give it a sensationalized slant in YS's favor. Yandere Simulator isn't as non-violent as that image may lead an unwitting person to believe. There's still plenty of violence (albeit not gory) and anime-steam-cloud-censored nudity (although it's not sexualized nudity since it takes place in a locker room).
Are violent games not allowed on Twitch? What?
All I see is double standard.
Are violent games not allowed on Twitch? What?

It's probably because of the whole 'take pictures of panties for information favors' part combined with being naked and other factors, despite censorship and all. In comparison, Farenheit: Indigo Prophecy's remastered and uncensored version has an explicit and interactive sex scene in it alongside grisly murders and a batshit insane plot that dives into Matrix kung-fu craziness, and that game's on the adult-only 18+ streams list.
Honestly it seems more like someone probably complained to Twitch than Twitch themselves doing the ban.
Well that's a really damn specific ban for it to have been an accident.
And that's also a really weird place to draw the line for "this game is so violent and awful because you kill innocent people and can see up girls skirts" considering games like GTA and Saints Row
I'm against him streaming devving the game regularly but Twitch doesn't even have a monopoly.
Livestream, Hotbox and Youtube have pretty decent services.
Twitch is a piece of shit anyway. Constantly freezes even on low quality but YouTube streams 1080p fine. YouTube sometimes lags a bit but that's because my connection can't handle 1080p not because it's shit for once. I haven't seen a game stream on Livestream but a music one with a visualiser in the background worked flawlessly for the 2 hours it went for.
Twitch is acting like they have a monopoly though.

Watched a steam on NicoNico for 8 hours and it broke like 5 times but Twitch manages that in a minute.

That sounds like a you issue man i have 0 lag issues on twitch or youtube.
To this day I have never gotten Twitch to work in Chrome, always have to use IE.
I guess this all stems from it being a "4chan game," but really that's kind of ludicrous. The game is designed to be a Hitman-like with a schoolgirl setting, and I'm 100% certain that Twitch lets people stream Hitman. Honestly, it's kind of offensive that they wouldn't even start a dialogue with the guy, and banned a game from being streamed (before its release) for completely undisclosed reasons.
Kind of hilarious that BMX XXX of all games is on that list.
The only thing i can think of that got it banned from twitch is the school setting.

It is probs the upskirt photography that did it.

Natsuiro Highschool (video in last post on page 1) is pretty much entirely upskirt photography but it's not on the list.
I find the banning of this game from Twitch to be completely absurd, even if one were to bring up panty shots, bullying or all the stuff that it's in the game. Not only games do not encourage such behaviour but by not exploring what one can do with games, the scene would just stagnate. But oh well, we live in a world where killing and violence is more morally accepted than bullying.
Hope Yanderedev endures and finds another way to make his game widely spread in the streaming community(which I find hard, seeing as how Twitch is basically the only platform where games can thrive from streaming).

Not really. Youtube, Hitbox, and plenty of others all exist. Twitch is mainly just so popular because it was the first; others do it much better, though, given that I've never had issues with the stream freezing or becoming a mosaic on Youtube, but it happens pretty often on Twitch.

Eh Hitbox and Youtube ain't bad alternatives, plus Yanderedev has a big enough following to back it up regardless of where he goes, Twitch might be the de facto streaming platform but doesn't mean its the only one.
Honestly I think he should use Hitbox or Youtube over twitch, he's already got a large Youtube channel which people follow and if he goes to Hitbox he can get a sub button. :v:

Wasn't it YouTube that deleted one of his videos for showing pantyshots?

I know this isn't suppose to be funny but I read it in his informative, dead pan voice and the "Wow! Bad news!" got pretty funny.

Just to point out how easy this is, I have a sub button on Hitbox and I don't stream on Hitbox.

I know, anyone can get a sub button, Hitbox did it on purpose to pull people in.
It kinda worked too.

Meanwhile pranksters can basically molest women.
Our games get a raw deal.

To be honest, only now I'm wondering why the hell they gave them ability to type faster, rather than anything like a simple direct-input to their cortex, which is technology that exists in the universe of GitS.
