This Indiana Jones map for Monster Hunt is pretty neat. Not sure if anyone else posted it yet, but I'm gonna post it anyway. Never realy had a chance to try out the Monster Hunt mod back then since I didn't know about it (and I didn't know how to install mods, either), but my dad had this Monster Madness mod installed, and it was kinda like Monster Hunt in that there were Unreal NPCs, but it could be used for pretty much any gamemode. I don't remember exactly what it was called, but it was pretty neat. Also, I polished up that biker skin a bit and added the four team variants. [t]http://i.imgur.com/LvrI31W.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/r5b95kS.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/nqaxXoU.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/julatbk.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/OPA0wfH.jpg[/t] Sure as would be nice if I had the game so that I can actually get the raw textures for this and actually get something done instead of just doing concepts. Oh, and that's Hideki Kamiya in the biker suit, by the way. Same face from that photo of him in a biker outfit.
Hey I'll host a server if anyone actually wants to play tonight
I'm also up for it. If we don't have enough for a deathmatch, we can always do monster hunt.
I really hate how the 2k4 main menu looks, the way the text scrolls and the characters are on it makes it look like some sort of strange advertisement. EDIT: I might as well ask here since this is the UT thread. Does anybody know how to port meshes into UT2k4 and turn them into weapons? I want to get these models into the game from blender [t]http://i5.minus.com/iNCz5Fjt8TyLy.png[/t] [t]http://i5.minus.com/ib2fNxQV5ECVq5.png[/t]
Shit I'm remembering the Stargate SG-1 maps from 2004. That shit was the bomb. All the custom invasion maps and shit were amazing. I vividly remember one HUGE city map with tons of secrets and buildings with interiors, and a large map with a Pyramid in the center.
I vividly remember one HUGE city map with tons of secrets and buildings with interiors
Sounds like the kind of map I would enjoy.
Hey I'll host a server if anyone actually wants to play tonight
I'll hopefully join in.
Anyone else think Raw Steel is kinda hot? I mean, they're shirtless, have really defined muscles, rock-hard abs, and the biggest boob muscles out there. Even the ladies in this game aren't as undressed as Raw Steel are.
Anyone ever played with the Zombies of Nightmare mod for 2k4? It mixes well with Ballistic Weapons strangely, especially if you play on a map like Kill Barn. As for memories long ago, I used to play on an Invasion server on 2k4 that had the Instagib Shock Rifles enabled with modified differences to the enemies so they were slightly harder to kill. I remember loads of people screaming and shouting when the War Lords appeared at the tenth round, everyone used to hide and take cover and find a particular camping spot. All the players unlucky enough to come across a War Lord were instantly blown to bits. To be honest, I've never really played the online modes enough to learn how players work against each other. I stuck to all the co-op stuff more than TDM and Onslaught more than anything. I think the only time I properly tried to play was on Assault, when those challenge maps were made. Those ones that made you take advantage of dodging onto platforms and doing shield gun jumps.
Sorry, I didn't make the server because I went to bed after no one responded for a bit We should plan ahead!

That was stupidly intricate and brilliant as far as size and quality goes.
Did anyone here play OldSkool for UT99? It allowed support for singleplayer so you could play Unreal 1 (with the HUD and save function from Unreal I as well) and had some great singleplayer maps for it.

I'm in the boat where I never played it against other players because, at the time, got dominated each time. As such, I played the shit out of the OldSkool maps and campaigns. Monster Hunt too.
I installed Tactical Ops and Infiltration but both severely bugged out on me, so I might have to do a fresh reinstall of UT99. Besides Nali Weapons and the goremod as well as Jailbreak, what're good mods to download? I kinda stick to botmatches since online play never seems to work with UT games for me.
4 team CTF is probably my favorite game mode now next to Assassin. http://www.utzone.de/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=4227_CTF4 [t]http://i.imgur.com/HE4OwZU.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/LJMJkQT.jpg[/t] Only bad thing is that almost all the custom characters don't work unless they have 4 team colors. Still fun though.

It's motif is taking the gameplay style of Serious Sam, amping up the enemies and weapons tenfold, giving it a doomish feel, and putting it into a remixed Unreal campaign.
It pains me that I can't buy this $10 game even during sales, because I don't have a credit card and I would have to ask my dad to buy it for me, which I'm not very comfortable doing, to be honest.
Working on the best gun ever. [t]http://i7.minus.com/iWsT0EEPNA1HA.png[/t] I need to learn how to get this in 2k4.
I vividly remember one HUGE city map with tons of secrets and buildings with interiors
DeadCity2? I played the SHIT out of that map back in the day
the people playing this game online are freaking NUTS it's like they have every possible calculation of the game memorized

They come in increments of something like $25, $50, $75, and $150 I think. They act just like a credit card but after you're done with it you can toss it away.
[t]http://i3.minus.com/izyML3WuD0PxV.jpg[/t] Almost ready to start UV mapping it So is somebody still gonna set up a UT99 server?
I'd love a game of Infiltration if anyone else could be arsed installing it. Or even Vanilla 99
99 is permanently installed on everything I own Also after some quick research I've discovered you can play UT99, or any Unreal game splitscreen

What do you think would be a good website to get started on and buy a pre-paid card?
the people playing this game online are freaking NUTS it's like they have every possible calculation of the game memorized
The first game of UT99 in years, I had Monday night. Joined one of the only populated CTF servers there was, turns out it's a gamemode where on most maps, the only weapons worth holding on to were the Instagib shock rifle, and a redeemer thing, the secondary fire of which would launch a jet with you in it. Really hard to get the hang of, and these guys were just wiping the floor with me. Was fun as fuck though
Did anyone ever have that Predator Skin for the Skaarj Hybrid class? My dad used to have that installed on the game, once. Also, this knight skin I found on Skin City is pretty neat. It's not often you see creative skins like this.
Just had an instagib match on CTF-Dday, good fun [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/720870441797143081/3F5D2B48095DE403471D7757A4F09BE02F80CB32/[/t] my game isn't "pure" though, not sure what that means but it seems to cut off the shock rifle model.

As far as using them goes, they are actually pretty easy to use. Each card company has their own website where you activate your card for online purchases and enter the card number, security code, and fill in your personal info as you would do with a real credit card. I can't remember the websites at the moment but I think they are given to you in the fine print of the packaging. After that, you just enter the credit card info into steam or whatever other site, as you would do with a real card, and that's that.

Not sure which other retailers sell it though.
