Mods like Jailbreak, U4E, and Nail Weapons are fucking awesome. Mods are part of the fun of UT99.

It's not the best for Last Man Standing since it becomes pretty difficult to find anyone after the majority of the players are killed off, but it's a pretty neat map to explore.

Hey can you guys help me. Several of my mutators just disappeared in my mutator list. WORM and StuffSwapper. I just opened up the mutator list after a match and poof they were gone. Anyone know how to fix this?

That's pretty odd. Unfortunately, I wouldn't know how to fix it. Are the files for your mutators still in the systems folder?

Also, what's the difference between WORM and StuffSwapper? Now that you mentioned those two, I feel like installing at least one of them, but I'm not sure which one I should choose.

Yeah their all in the Systems folder they just dont appear in the mutator list.Maybe I have too many mutators? After installing Infilitration 2.9 I found a bunch of mutators in the mutator list.

Stuffswapper enables you to use use sets eg: You can create a whole weapon set using a specific mutators weapons and replace them with UT weapons while in WoRM you have to select them one by one.

StuffSwapper also has the option to spawn randomly with a weapon from another mutator. But for some reason I always end up using WoRM anyway.

Edit: Ok managed to get the mutators appearing in the mutator list again. Looks like there was indeed a conflict with the Infiltration mod, uninstalling the Infiltration mod solved it.

Does anyone know how to find out what texture and system files in the UT folder are default files other than reinstalling the game? I was thinking about starting mapping with that game, and I don't want to end up accidentally using custom content unless I intend to.

I used to play it on my dad's computer long after UT99 stopped working on it, probably around 2008. Not sure whether he still has the installation box or not, but it's possible.

I have to sort them out first. I burnt UT with custom content onto 3 CD's back in the day. Some maps use custom .u or .utx and .umx files and I have to figure out which belongs to which.

You know which software to use to easily check what content whatever map uses, right? If not, I would suggest using the [z0m] MapManager to do that.

I think the major problem I was having with it was that the ceiling was too flat. I luckily got the idea of making a bevel around the lights to fix that.

Anyone know of any tools that can tell which files are related to a .u file? I found some old skins from Skincity on those old CD's of mine and would love to upload them but I dont know which textures they use.

Anyone know a good outdoor TDM map for 2k4? I'm looking for something with wide open spaces and plenty of room for maneuvering instead of the usual CQB.
