Is there anyway to make UT3 look for mods on anything besides the OS Drive? Or a work around atleast?
I was thinking about remaking that NeoCop skin pack by painting at least most of the texture like the artists appeared to have done with their textures rather than use mostly photos from the internet, so I got started on a face that I'm still working on. [img]http://i.imgur.com/7tPyW71.jpg[/img]

I redid Cooper. [img]http://i.imgur.com/VHSzbtx.png[/img] I had some trouble getting the highlight on the lens to look right, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with the results.
And here's Lee. I might make a couple tweaks, but this one is at least close to being done. [img]http://i.imgur.com/mIiqyVe.png[/img] I'm actually kinda surprised that I'm doing a decent job with the painting considering that I hadn't had much experience with it before.
Does anyone else think that the nanoblack paint on the current Necrises' cheeks and jaws looks rather ugly? Hopefully, they're not going to get too used to that.

I hope it's not the final design, would want them to look more similar to ut99 design (especially the armor). It's pretty cool of them to accept the possibility of having the community add its own content and lore as long as it fits with the game.
Does anyone know the proper way to use the block action for the ChaosUT sword? I tried to use it against other bots with swinging swords, but it doesn't seem to work.
On the topic about the whole Necris thing, here's a paintover of the Necris concept that a guy named Mangley made and posted a long while ago. Variation in character design is important, of course, but that general style works pretty damn well, and you could always mix and match this with other concepts like Aberiu's Freylise design.
I heard that this runs DX12? Is it true? How do I enable it? Or is it only enabled in the editor and not actually in Unreal Tournament?

Maybe Thunder Crash ran out of Thunder Cash for their golden trims

I understand wanting a general human profile for gameplay purposes, but kinda following suggestions someone had on the character forums, I did some things like elongating the skull, pulling the dreads back towards the crown, pulling the brow up, and flattening the top of the head. That way, the headshape would still fit nicely in the existing hitbox, but he looks less "angry scaly bald man". I like both, in the perfect world we'd have both to choose from in game, its not like that species would all have the same faces anyway.

Personally, I think they would look somewhat more fitting if their faces were more extruded forward kinda like an animal's face rather than taller.
When are we gonna get my robot teams? I need Rapier. Or even completely customizable bots like UT3 was. I swear that's the only thing that game did right.
