So I found this obscure UT99 video featuring a map that looks similar to DM-Nicktest. I didn't notice until probably around 2:42. Also, this is the youtuber's avatar, which is actually stranger and probably more worthy of mention, now that I think about it. Does anyone know if the rest of guys that are officially on the UT4 team are getting paid? If that's the case, then it would have been possible for Michiel to get accepted onto the team and get paid for his work.

I imagine if we were to ever get any tracks from the original composers at this point wed have to have someone pay them to do music for their own, original project for UT. That, or maybe we can get some people to convince epic to do a crowdfunding campaign for extra funding to do things like this, but i dont know if thats the best idea.
You know, it's weird that neither Michiel Van Den Bos or Alexander Brandon had mentioned that they decided that they weren't going to be making music for UT4 besides that email that Michiel sent to that one guy supposably as a reply to said guy's question. Like, not on the UT forums or Facebook, I don't think. It kinda makes me wonder how long ago they actually decided against doing music for UT4.
Man, with Filefront down that's a lot of skins, mutators and mods altogether that are gone from the net now. I've been having a hell of a time dicking around with UT2k4 again.

Aberiu has [URL="https://forums.unrealtournament.com/showthread.php?21448-Relics-and-Rayguns"]begun working on a mod similar to ballistic weapons[/URL], a pretty popular UT2k4 mod. Additionally, the next build of UT4 coming out relatively soon will contain a new map called Plaza. They didnt show anything off of it, they just stated the name and the gamemode (deathmatch) for sure. But they seemed to imply that it was already fully meshed out. They also showed off some DM-Chill concept art by gooba which looked pretty cool.

I had asked him in the thread if he and Michiel were ever hired by Epic or not, and he confirmed that they indeed weren't hired on to the team, so we know that now.
Is anyone else experiencing a problem with UT4 where the game crashed within 2 to 5 minutes into a match?

So apparently that [url=https://forums.epicgames.com/threads/572646-Unreal-1-game]Unreal 1 gamemode mod[/url] for UT2k4 comes with a Doom weapon and monster pack, but for some reason both that and its own Unreal 1 weapons don't show up on WORM or mutator lists or anything, as if they don't exist. Anyone got any advice?

Anyone got any advice?[/QUOTE] UB and DoomPawns2k4 should work out of the box, I don't remember if they have replacement mutators but if WoRM can't pick them up then maybe something went wrong. I can't think of anything that would fix the problem besides downloading the system files again and replacing the files. Anyway, if you want more content I got hundreds of mod files, some COOP stuff on my dropbox, and I can show you my redirect so you can pick some independent files you might want (I have a version of U1Pawns and PlaceableWeps that's more recent than the one that you can get from the mod's thread).

I might be wrong but you might be able to make the weapons work with WoRM by creating a .ucl file with weapon entries containing at least all the fields but the fallback description. Alternatively you might be able to force UCC to create a proper .ucl file. I had to use that method to replace weapons in the Unreal 1 campaign with my own mod's
