It freezes and even crashes my friend when he plays with me. I think it has something to do with using an AMD card, but I'm unsure. Hopefully they'll fix it next patch!
Holy shit I updated my Nvidia drivers, updated windows, and replaced my monitor. Now all of a sudden I get a solid 144fps in all maps. Even on medium settings!
The heck happened? Anyone else having some good frame rates all of a sudden too? I used to hover around 50fps even with everything on low...

The rocket launcher, shock rifle and the enforcer are the weapons I am really looking forward for
I've just grabbed an ultrawide monitor, can someone help me get UT99 running at the right resolution? If i set it via the config file to my resolution, the game crashes or launches in windowed mode, then crashes if I try to fullscreen it.
Googling hasn't helped much, aside from seeing a video that confirmed it was possible.

Part of me is kinda disappointed the dude rounded out the minigun barrels. I know it was probably done to save on polygons back in the day but i think the angular barrels give the UT99 a really distinctive look compared to other miniguns

I like it, feels a lot more buff which is what made the original ut99 model so great
That is so much better than the first iteration, it has a nice retro-futuristic look that evokes UT99 much more, and that kick is sexy

Regardless of how UT4 turns out in the end i think it'll still be great due to the extreme modability.
I mean making the game play differently is as simple as a mutator, and plus with mods like chaosUT coming back, kinda feels like 99 all over again

They've removed the grenade function from the rocket launcher, but added a new grenade launcher weapon instead.
But the weird one is the removal of the impact hammer in deathmatch mode??

It's pretty upsetting that custom maps made for the previous version of UT4 stop working every time they update the engine, which is half of these updates.
When/if they do end up finishing this, I'm hoping that they'll stick with the last engine version being used or at least find a way for maps made for pervious versions of the game to be automatically converted.
My god, the enforcer is beautiful though.
It's like a 40k bolter pistol or something in terms of bulkiness. I just wish they would ditch that fucking horrible burst.

I don't think the Link Gun should have an overheat mechanic, even if it only lasts half a second, it seems out of place to me.
