I used to play this on lans a lot, ages ago. Two years back I re-installed it and get blown to fucking peices by pinpoint
accurate missiles in mid-flight on high-speed servers. I just suck so bad at this
I played the map too, and I don't have many good things to say about it I'm afraid.
The biggest issue is it doesn't flow - you very often can find yourself stuck at a dead end, and even worse, you can find yourself unable to even turn back too. The top of the door frame and bouncing on the bed are 2 examples.
It is too big - as you can see in the video not even being able to jump on the keyboard is a disappointment.
One of the jump pads doesn't go high enough - it's on the floor between the bed and that 'bin' that has the shieldbelt over it. If you end up on that pad you cannot land anywhere safely. The bed itself also has this issue.
the autocannons protecting one of the redeemers isn't set up correctly. They are friendly to red team.
there's a teleporter on the floor in the corner nearest the door that doesn't go anywhere.
No bot pathnodes, but I didn't expect there to be any either.
The map is so big it suffers from a flaw in the original weapons - the range can be so high between yourself and a target that the weapons just don't reach. Even the sniper rifle.
I ended up having to spawn a translocator for myself to properly navigate.
That top ledge that can be reached with a teleporter of elevator seems pointless. You can't really snipe from there because of the range involved, and a lot of the map is played near the room edges.
On the plus side, it's great that you put effort into making a map in the first place! :v:
I liked the drinks cans secrets.
Weapon and item placement is OK for the most part, though you frequently can spawn some distance away from a weapon.
The drink puddle is helpful.
Having to battle autocannons for that redeemer is a nice idea.
In all, it's still a decent map for low grav instagib deathmatch, but could use a bit of tweaking.

No, wrong one. The map I'm talking about is huge. It has a massive bridge-like structure running down the middle, and various other structures scattered throughout mountainous terrain.

Excuse the quality. I almost had a heart attack when I played Go Down and Foregone Destruction. Also the Unreal Tournament and UT2004 have one of the best intros I have ever heard. I refuse to believe FPS's would be the same today without the Unreal Tournament series. I am still bummed at how UT3 turned out, I was really disappointed in it.
And I am still pissed about the 360 exclusive Unreal Tournament game with the melee weapons.

Chaos UT (a mod for UT2004) has melee weapons.
It also brings back the ripper (now called the C.U.T.T.E.R.) and it gives you a grappling hook so you can play Spiderman.
God I love the grappling hook!

The one for UT2004 has loads of melee weapons. It also adds in new conventional weapons, including a turret launcher, and a flamethrower.

Unreal championship, I had the first and it was actually pretty much ut2k3 but with less stuff, the second one looks silly though.
Also I didn't mind UT3, the weapons and stuff were pretty good and I thought the additions were good (hoverboards). The disappointing thing was how little content it had, no assault and that gimped version of ONS. It seemed more like a demo for the new engine than a fleshed out game.
I repeat, what filepath do I find my screenshots in?
