Zarya can save 2 people even if she's not equipped to deal with D'va's ult. Mei can Icewall the team to safety. Reinhardt can just keep his shield right infront of the D'va mech and nullify the whole thing. Been playing placements on my alt. Geezus Christ are some people fucking full of themselves to the point where they're willing to throw the game over it. I've played Soldier 76 for all five placements so far and every single one has had people complaining about DPS, even if DPS isn't the problem and even if [I]other people agree[/I] DPS isn't the problem. My first (and only) loss was my first game on Dorado and people did not have any sense of good positioning. Fine, I'll just make friendly suggestions and if people take them, great, if not, whatever and I keep my mouth shut. When we get pushed to the end, one of the guys playing healer blows up on me specifically because the other DPS was Junkrat, who he was queued with (natch). One of our tanks and one of our healers is also telling this guy the DPS was not the issue and most peoples positoning was terrible. Instead of just staying on healer for the attack round, he tells me "What if I told you that if you gave me Soldier that we would win?" Lemme pause the story and let you know this guy is Gold at 2300. So I tell him no and he goes Genji, we can't push to end because we only have one healer, and this guy isn't taking any of the blame while Smart Tank and Smart Healer are super pissed at him for being a blowhard. The story gets better when two games later we're playing with each other again and he...actually goes a role we need (Tank) and win the shit out of the game. Fuck me, right?

what's the ideal damage per round Soldier 76 should be getting? i feel like overall damage is more important than kills for him but i'm not sure how to gauge my usefulness to my team

Placement story #2 These two guys named LSMJ and David are pissed at me for being "bad DPS". Ironically, it's also on Dorado. They're literally cursing me out in broken English over voice chat and it's clear they're Chinese. They're playing Ana and Mercy and not giving me anything, no damage boost, no NanoVisor, no resurrection, barely healing, they're super pissed about just not playing DPS themselves while me and our other DPS (Reaper) and too busy killing people to deal with their whining. They clearly want to win though because they could obviously just change to DPS themselves and throw the game but they don't, so good on them for that much. We somehow win the Dorado. Great, never have to play with those guys again. Drop into a Volskaya Industries and [I]they're on the opposite team[/I]. I'm actually dreading this because knowing my luck they'll actually win this somehow. For once I'm glad I was wrong. They were terrible. One was Soldier, the other was Genji, they had a single mission that game and it was to fuck me and they failed. Soldier solo ultie'd me and our Lucio, being the angel sent by God that he was, ulties immediatly and I RIP the guy. Shortly after that the Genji dives me with deflect down, ulties, and I just rocket his ass dead and his ultie is used up. They didn't even cap the first point and then we first cap it for an easy win. Some people.

Altought atleast, they made in effort in their translation of the game, every new voiceline is translated and dubbed in french and i can't be thankful enough for this, the french VO is excellent for most heroes and i am disappointed that valve made a french dub for tf2 and never ever followed up on this, most voiceline are in english in tf2 mixed with the french one.[/QUOTE] There are so many unused voice lines in Overwatch right now, it's strange how Blizzard hasn't bothered with updating the voice line wheel, like a fucking "Negative!" option. Just make her ult have some K-pop play in the background as her teammates put all of their love and friendship and trust in her so she can unleash her strongest attack fueled by friendship
