just made it to diamond after a tense 5 round koth match. just in time too since i wouldn't have been able to play on wednesday or thursday.

Free weekend scrublord reporting in! One question about skins. I thought the loot box system was similar to Hearthstone (75% of packs/boxes have 1 rare item and the rest is common trash) but I think Overwatch was incredibly generous to me. I played to level 20 and got the 5 loot boxes from Arcade and found 3 legendary skins and 3 epic skins (Golden Reinhardt, Bedouin Genji, Toa Hog, golden booty Widowmaker, pigshit Hog + white robobuddha). Is this a common amount of stuff you get from 25 packs, was I lucky or is Blizzard boosting the drop rates during free weekend to lure in suckers like me with the sweet skins? Hearthstone's pity mechanic (if you open 39 packs without a legendary, 40th pack is guaranteed to have one) shows that Blizzard has tinkered with the drop rates before, not that I'm complaining. PS: I thought this was just TF3. In fact it's incredibly polished and slick TF3 with strategic ults and secondary skills. Great game and I'm really liking the business model of "buy once, get everything" instead of the usual "free to play but pay to stop waiting"-model.

You can even get multiple legendaries in one box.

[/QUOTE] Not sure if there's a set mechanic in place to force a legendary if you haven't found one in awhile. It seems pretty random but I've never felt like I was going through too long of stretches without a legendary. Plus, it doesn't take too long to have enough coins to buy the ones you want anyway. I felt like around level 100 or so I had good legendaries for all the characters I played, whether through random drops or paid for.

It's literally the LEAST greedy games i EVER played. They don't pressure you with skin, microtransaction or ANYTHING of the sorts! Lootbox in this game are so EASY to get it's crazy and they lowered the XP to have a new level from 22 to 20 000 so if you makes atleast 4 great round, you already got your lootbox and level! Plus if you're in a group, even less maybe! AND they offers you 2 lootbox just for winning a game in 3v3 and 1v1 in arcade! AND 3 more for winning 9 times on those gamemode! And the best thing? This game lootbox don't have a key. Yes. NO FUCKING KEY TO PAY. That's FREAKING AMAZING. Everyone got a chance to customize their character compared to the greedy tf2 we all know. But wait! There's more : The event-case are FREE and you can obtain them with your daily levelling, so you don't have 100 case with only 5 being event related, you got all of those being event case (IF YOU LEVELLED UP 100 TIME) Blizzard is SURPRISINGLY generous with Overwatch, something is going on for all those thing. It's too good to be true. ... the only thing they aren't generous with are update. I wish there was a Weekly update adding 3 skin for 3 character with 1 emote, highlight intro and pose, and a new maps every month. Event skin are cool, but i hope they are going to do more random skin. But don't be afraid, THERE NO TRAPS .. for now. Hats got added much later in TF2..

I mean it's not really a problem to begin with given that you can have two of every supposedly unique hero in any given match, 12 if you're playing without limits, but even then it's easy to fix.

We don't know who the 3rd "Successor" Doomfist is yet, for all we know he might be behind why Reaper and Widow pursued the gauntlet in the very first cinematic. Maybe the Successor is the guy in charge of Talon, or maybe there's something else to it. It's all up in the air for now.

If you look at The Saviour he's not wearing the doomfist, just spiked knuckles. Maybe they were eventually built upon to create the gauntlet but otherwise I assume it's just a title associated with Numbani heroes who punch really hard and that the gauntlet is the newest incarnation of the "costume". Like how the Flash was just a guy in jeans, a football jersey and a hat based on Mercury was succeeded by a guy in a full body costume that only had a color scheme and lightning bolt in common with the originals design Also I assume the Doomfist is closer to Excaliber as opposed to a power source.

I'm interested to see how they differentiate Doomfist from Reindhart though. A slow heavy, melee focused tank is what I expected of him but that's so close to Reindhart that I think he may be slightly faster and more offensive

I only want Terry Crews to voice act doomfist if Terry Crews himself is the actual successor, I need his entire likeness to be in overwatch.

Who says he needs to be slow. He could be a fairly fast tank with low health and high damage output.

There's also the possibility of them giving him a gun while the gauntlet is used for his abilities/ultimate, though I would rather see him as a melee hero. Overwatch doesn't have enough melee heroes.
