Think riot shield but without a Reinhardt needing to be behind it. I guess you could say it's more accurately a rolling ballistic shield in either case.
I'd imagine throwing one in front of a nanoboosted whoever so they can have a bit more meat on their bones before entering the grinder could be a really useful tactic too.
For people worried about being able to put shield generators in spawns - they've blocked spawns. You can only place them in areas both teams can reach. Also applies to teleporters now.

This has killed one of my favorite symmetra trolls
Putting a teleporter directly on where it would appear in spawn so when you run into it you go nowhere.

The photon barrier seems a little too fast for comfort.
Also, the Shield Generator disappears and her ult charge is reduced to 0% if you cap a point on attack

It's a bit faster. I feel like you can't really secure the area around it before it goes too far and stops being effective.

I guess I'm so used to most of blizzards content being so polished you can eat your dinner off it, that it's disconcerting what a buggy placeholder mess symmetra is in the ptr right now.
I get that it's all very experimental and not on the main game and they desperately want feedback before doing anything concrete but for crying out loud - stunning symmetra while she's placing an ult can create a immortal invisible teleporter.

Apparently Blizzard Brazil fucked up on a Twitch stream and left Xplit open while having a meeting. I only caught part of it, but they talked about a Christmas Event for Overwatch on the 6th.
Keep in mind I'm just passing the information that I listened from the stream, nothing is confirmed. Pretty sure someone recorded it before they nuked it and the video should surface on the web pretty soon.

I think they're fine. Especially the Sombra hacking.
Zarya and Reinhardt are both in the Mandantory tier, I want this tank meta to finally end.
More things that can cripple their all purpose shields is a good way to end it.
