Managed to get back in because of them extended the reconnect time, but one of our other teammates left and didn't reconnect, so I left but didn't lose rank, although I have been penalized for leaving. Fuck Blizzard, this is bullshit.

Honestly doesn't seem like win/losses matter in placements with you ending up more or less around your previous S2 rank

I just finished my placement matches 3 wins, 6 losses and 1 draw and once again i was pretty much mercy every match got 1.5K is as my rank which was even worse than last time but on the bright side the last placement match i had was fun as hell and i hit lvl 80 and i got Barbarossa torb skin in the box which was exactly the last item i needed to finish my torb combo

I've only been able to win 1v1 matches because the enemy leaves.

In the most unlikely way possible. We lost the first round, within just 4 minutes. I figured "well this is gonna fail, again". Two players seemed to agree and dropped out, solidifying my belief that this match was fucked. So we just wing it and fuck around for a bit - then the players returned, with 30 seconds to spare. We capture all of it within 2 minutes. Total turn-around. Neat.

Why the fuck is it that after every patch Blizzard puts out the game's meta devolves instead of improving? I didn't realize this during offseason but fuck Soldier 76 is overpowered as fuck and he does nothing but make the meta even staler. At least before you could choose between Reinhardt\Winston and Zarya\Roadhog, now you [B]NEED[/B] Reinhardt - D.va because good luck playing against a Soldier 76 without D.va, Roadhog gets shredded (although he still has good pick potential) and Winston is fucking useless because now not only he is countered by Reaper but also by Reaper-but-at-all-Ranges Soldier 76, with the difference that the Winston - Reaper matchup was one of the softest counters in the game because you could still hold your ground by careful positioning of yourself and your shield, you can't do jackshit against 76 because he can deal full damage to you past your effective range and even if you do get him at short range he can just plop his health station down (which heals faster than your tickle gun).

Won 4, lost 5, drew 1. Placed Platinum 2723. Not tooooo bad.

I can't get battle.net to launch, it keeps giving me an error code. Any suggestions? It started happening after my computer failed to connect to the internet at one point.

Finally unlocked Competitive. Get the feeling I might as well not even bother though. Junkrat's the most fun I have in this game but I consistently hear he's near useless in competitive.

You'd have people shouting at each other in like 3 different Asian languages (and I'm pretty sure nobody understands each other). It's actually pretty funny if you try to forget the fact that you're getting steamrolled by a stack of Koreans as it happens. :v:

God, is it just me or does it feel like S76 actually has a permanent aimbot. I swear it's like they never miss.

I'm kinda worried I'm gonna get bored of this game. Don't want to play competitive because I expect CS:GO level toxicity (and I can't play Junkrat), so that just leaves the regular game which doesn't exactly change at it's core. Right now I'm shooting towards getting Junkrat's legendary stuff but once I get everything I want I worry I'll lose my drive to keep playing.

If you're good at a character and know when to use them (and when not to) then pick that character.
