Is there any good gameplay videos for Sombra yet?
could watch this
I haven't watched any gameplay of her besides the trailer, but how fast does her ultimate come out? Does it have wind-up animation like Lucio? Because if it has a wind-up with a sound que, you can probably still use Transcendence to counter it. (If it doesn't turn it off that is)
That's almost as bad
You react and transcend -> Enemy team waits it out and beyblades you
You don't react -> Enemy team beyblades you immediately
Best case scenario
You react and transcend -> Enemy team waits it out and beyblades you -> You use sound barrier instead -> You die later because you used both healer ults at once
No, don't get me wrong... Even I mentioned it's probably really hard to adjust, but they're professionals etc in a world stage, not just nationally. I guess that's what I meant, I'm not being snarky or anything about it though.
Yeah but even professional\world stage, it is common.
You can check other competitions and it's not even asian, it also includes some europeans etc.

It's instant.

Something didn't store the date right so it jumped back to the unix epoch which is where computers count time from, 1970

sombra seems quite strong right now. Not Zaria tier, but definitely stronger than most heroes. I don't like the hacking the medkit bit, and also I'm glad the invis isn't fully invisible. I don't want invisible because of TF2-tier bullshit with spychecking and such
That's almost as bad

That depends on how long the silence lasts. If it lasts shorter than Trans (Like 3 seconds) I think it gives you plenty of time to react to her team with a Sound Barrier. I don't think Blizzard is that crazy to make the silence last 6 seconds. Right? :worried:
Also with Nano Boost getting it's speed removed, I can see Beyblade being a lot less potent.
I really really REALLY don't think her ulti should be instant cast, especially when she can just go invis and stand in the middle of people
It's instant.

Jesus Christ! An ability like that should defiantly not be instant. How long is the silence?
Quick play is basically ruining my life. How can it decide to put stacks of diamonds versus solo platiniums and me?
I can't play competitive in this situation because that's for when I have the the energy to do my best or better, lest I get punished.
I'm fine with a lot of things but I do think her hack is a bit too powerful and really REALLY shouldn't effect Lucio's Ult or any of the healing ones.
A lot of pushes depend on it, I don't want the game to become stalemate central because any and all pushing tools are instantly tossed in the trash because a single character pushed a button.
I dunno, it affecting lucio's ult could have a nice effect of opening up other supports for things as lucio becomes less of an always good pick

if she doesnt get a nerf before release the game will be actually ruined, she is SO overpowered in this state

They actually said that this version is pretty much a rougher version of the PTR. It's not like Ana's situation since everybody got to play Ana in PTR at same time. This is a Blizzcon build. I'm sure there'll be better tweaks before live.
The only thing that worries me is How fast her teleport recharges. But other then that she doesn't look as OP as people are running around claiming she is.
Please for the love of god keep the class limiting thing out of the PTR build until like a week after she comes out
I want to play 6 v 6 Sombras in quickplay
Arcade mode has a 6v6 no limit iirc

Just play the no limit mode?
I kind of wish Blizzard would put in-game on exactly what the abilities and weapons do. Like it would be nice to just press a button to see that Lucio's gun does 16 damage per shot or that Soldier's heal heals for 40 HP per second.
Just play the no limit mode?
I'm not going to wait 1-5 minutes in a queue that only people with a ticket know about (apparently).
Quickplay works better, faster and allows for a better understanding for a lot of characters that would be locked off with class limitations (ex: McCree, Roadhog, & Genji).

Her spread is apparently just slightly larger than S76. With the same range. On a 60 clip uzi.
What.
I've actually got the news as I was waiting to see a movie with my usual Overwatch posse and we watched the animated short together
To be honest, I fucking love the idea of a shifting pure disabler hero (what Mei should had been) whose sole purpose is to hinder the enemy team and can totally see myself playing Sombra over and over again, master her and make her one of my house specialty
At the same time, though, I can't help but be worried about some of her abilities, especially in the hands of players with an average brain
Hack really offers too much utility for a normal ability with a moderately low CD instead of an ulti

If you think Blizzard won't add a giant pop up for Arcade game modes explaining how the whole thing works you must have picked this game very recently.
Everyone who can read will know about Arcade.

I highly doubt that thing actually has a 35m falloff start.
Sombra's ult should take as long to charge as her ARG
The only thing that worries me is How fast her teleport recharges. But other then that she doesn't look as OP as people are running around claiming she is.
It's mainly her ultimate really. Everything else seems perfectly reasonable.

You do realize putting a load of people in 5-6 different things will turn some queues into a mess right
Sure they know about it, but people don't play on it. Look at the brawls for crying out loud, most people tune out after like the first day. I'm sure even with the prize system you will still see a higher queue time in most of the arcade games than in QP.

7:15 in that video.
"Her effective range is about Soldier 76 range, but the spread is a bit more, just a touch."
