Why is absolutely everyone judging the ability of a character that they haven't been able to play yet?
It seems like all of her abilities have pretty severe counters and she's incredibly squishy + doesn't have shields, wait until you get to actually get your hands on her (And play against teams with her) to complain

Remember that having Ana as a main healer is going to probably lead to a lower winrate than if you also have a lucio. She's not as reliable at keeping people topped off.

My biggest issue with Lucio is that you just have to play him to get the gold healing medal.

i want to have fun playing as a support and lucio has 0 interactivity with his healing and his gun does shit damage, i cant think of any other hero i can have less fun with. its QP, yeah i want to win but im not going to make myself suffer for it just so we can win
if anything its other peoples fault to not run a 2nd healer, im not even saying the 2/2/2 meta but having a 2nd healer always seems to be the best thing

"play what your team needs"? i only ever play support/healer and a team always needs a healer. rarely has there ever been a situation where i would be a 3rd healer. even then, i go and play pharah or roadhog or something like that. i just outright dont ever wanna play lucio because i just hate his entire play style
Wall riding, booping people to their death, speed boosting your team through choke points, catching people underestimating your ability to headshot them 5 times in quick succession... Lucio is a lot of fun if you know how to play him.

i dont see why i should be the one put to blame when in a hell of a lot of situations having a 2nd healer is the way to go, but people rather feel we need like 2 hanzos or 3 DPS or 3 tanks or something
hell i could actually be blamed if i was playing zen as a solo healer since his standard healing is trash, but anas is actually good and id say im pretty good at aiming with her

If you play any one hero a lot and you consistently lose way more games than you win with that hero, then you are either bad with that hero or you are picking them when you shouldn't. (this does not apply to heros that you rarely pick, I.E. if you only play bastion in dire situations as a last-ditch effort to stop the cart)

Pressing space a bunch isn't hard. I constantly get good medals on him. I am using him at his full potential, right clicking enemies off cliffs and shit, ulting at good times, etc.
He's still the most boring hero to play. Even Mercy is more fun because you can see the results of your healing and rezing.

its ana, at what point do you not need an ana? again, its not my fault that someone else on the team doesnt roll a 2nd healer. with how most healers work you definitely need a 2nd one to just be able to round out the comp and cover all your bases, either because theyre bad at healing tanks (lucio), their heals are inconsistent compared to others (ana), their standard heals are bad but they have insane DPS (zen), or their survivability is trash but theyre good at healing most anyone (mercy)

I'm [I]not[/I] saying that you don't need a second healer. I'm saying that if you primarily play a hero, and you have a super low win rate on that hero, then you are either bad at that hero or are picking them when your team needs something else. It's one or the other, you don't need to defend yourself. You asked a question, and got a reasonable answer.

It's way more than "just pressing space a bunch".
All of my most played is everyone in the support category, and I would say Lucio is my favorite.
Getting kills and being slippery and impossible to take down is fun as hell on top of not even having to worry more than a little about healing

I hate playing Mercy, but if everyone else is heroes we need but we don't have a healer, I have no problem keeping the team alive.

when i said "if im an awful ana" i was saying that hypothetically, i know theres no way its me being bad at ana. my friend who mains ana has about the same amount of playtime as me on her, yet they have 400 less healing/min than i do, and pretty much every other tracked stat is lower compared to mine. yet they have a 52% wr on her while i have 39%. i play ana basically better than they do yet they have the better winrate?
and again, dont see why [i]i[/i] should be the one to pick something else because my team needs it. seeing as how its QP its someone else making a bad comp choice. i switch off of ana to lucio and our tanks are basically shit out of luck for healing. itd be better if someone else went lucio. hell im better at ana or mercy than i am at lucio so im sure id be best on those two (and seeing how mercy is a trash pick right now ana is the better choice)

im already playing a healer though, its not like im saying i only wanna play DPS and nothing else
