I think you're confusing it with High Ground superiority. Being in the air alone just means you're a slightly elevated target. Soldier is good because he can get to high ground really quickly, and most classes struggle with that, the only classes who can really fight enemies more elevated than them in tf2 is Demoman and Sniper. That and tf2 handles movement differently, characters actually have momentum and air strafing is a hell of a lot harder to predict and Overwatch's WASD movement. Hell even the base jumper is faster than Pharah at getting around because you still move at a pretty quick horizontal speed. Then there's that big difference of Soldier relies on Splash while Pharah relies on direct hits. Oddly enough, Demoman relies on direct hits for his pills and Junkrat relies on splash, I always found this to be a really weird swap. And honestly the best class for TF2 is Demoman.
my biggest fault with pharah is her horizontal movement still feels so stiff. I also wonder, would letting her shoot two conc. grenades before cooldown be a signifigant buff?

You can drop and gain height fairly fast, so evasion shouldn't be an issue. In PTR, Pharah's rocket knockback got sacrificed for some bigger minimum damage with the rocket splash damage, though you should still focus on hitting people for the full massive damage. Take advantage of the concussion blast not just to knock enemies off the map/set up your shots or make it harder to hit you, but also use it to gain a lot of momentum for a brief moment, either to escape or close your distance. Her ultimate is brilliant, but it requires a lot of timing and communication. Nothing wrong about using it to secure just 1-2 kills, as trying to use it on an entire group is more than likely going to result in getting no kills at all. Don't use it way up in the air, and try to get as much cover as you can before you activate it, without blowing yourself up. Being in the air is a great advantage against heroes like Tracer, Reaper, Winston, Reinhardt and Zarya, and it lets you get behind Reinhardt's barrier with ease. But again, try not to be high up in the air too much - peaking around corners and shooting rockets still works really well.

Plus her ult, some character can just survive inside of it and kill you inside, notably Zarya and Roadhog. But in most maps, the air are pretty opens and Pharah is still weak on it. I don't think you just use your jetpack to jump around and stays in your enemy range, you'll just fly up and try to kill him while he struggle because you're not in his favorite range. Route 66 is one of the worst Pharah maps to play on.because first. The two first point are really open and Second. the last point is really narrow and closed so you can't exploit much of your jetpack there, but your rocket is powerful and you can spam it without aiming the ground to get direct hit because the enemy will always be packed there. Those aren't really problems in my opinion for Pharah because i got pretty good with her, but Pharah splash damage needed to be buffed along with the radius. And yeah, concussion blast is cool to close/escape distance but i feel like pharah in the air is really previsible because her movement is kind of limited there so it's why i considers her as weak. And of course, this fucking D.Va ult and soldier 76 ult are making me crazy if i'm in the air, Pharah need a third ability something like her highlight intro where she falls and punch the ground? so you can quickly take covers and go heal yourself.

Just having one blast lets you consistently save teammates from being pinned, hooked and frozen and you can even escape the otherwise guaranteed death when a flanker catches you in close quarters

I always thought Mei's voice was really inconsistant. Sometimes it sounds like she's voiced by two people.
Probably breaks between the acting and her real self.
judging from the twitter video, it might be because she's got trouble with pronouncing certain words? that definitely makes pulling a consistant voice tricky.
I'm not talking about the video, I'm talking about all her in game voice lines. "Learned your lesson" doesn't really sound like her voice.

Good lord last night was a complete shit show for comp. I kept getting awful teams. Had a dude throw as attack torb just because someone criticized his tank play. Nearly most of the time my stats were way higher than usual, with this being a record breaker for a few of my stats: [t]https://i.imgur.com/3gAxObg.png[/t] And we still lost that game. Comp is such a draining experience, where you just lose elo and never gain it back.
