Lucio dealing the shittest damage in the game puts alot of people off but I can see his appeal if you main him.

Just the act of wall riding your way around the map in creative ways alone makes Lucio one of the most fun heroes to me. I really hope Blizzard makes an arcade game mode where you need to go through a course as Lucio almost entirely through wall riding, Mirrors Edge style.

That being said, no, Genji is never automatically a bad pick unless the team simply has no need for flankers/harassers.

I hate it when I see a Lucio who is the only healer on the team doing stupid stunts because his healing is line of sight based and it gets me fucked over more than it helps because of needing healing. It's fine when you are doing it to contest a point, but holy fuck, don't just leave the team with your sppeeeeeeddd when they don't need it.
