Even if it's "hilarious" being subjected to unintended bullshit you can do nothing about is not good game design. There's a reason fountain hooking was removed in dota and that took way more effort.
I find just the everyday roadhog hooking much worse than when fringe stuff like that happen since it's very easy for him to land normally and get instant kills. At least those situations I'm usually happy while I fly into his m1 + v.
