I wanna do fun things like steal trees and impose a toll on the maianople river, but my guild is a little anal about breaking the laws. Ill probably skip on over to a pirate guild once i hit 50.

question, when you become pirate status, how do pirate guilds work? Is it just a normal guild, or do you become a third faction and have to join/start a guild specific to pirate status? are you now default 'green' to other pirates, or is everybody perma-bloodlust and you're only friendly to guildmates? are you and pirates from the opposite faction still divided and can't join the same guild, or is pirate the only binding faction at this point?

iirc, once you become a pirate you essentially become a 3rd faction of pirates, you'll be booted from all eastern or western guilds/parties, and they'll be red to you, other pirates will be green. Another way of making your own faction is when Auroria opens up, it's going to be massive guild wide effort to do so, but I think both eastern and western guilds can join up in the same alliance there. On EU Kyprosa we might try to join Aurorian Empire when they set up shop there.

Not sure if I like the prospect of being pretty much locked out of both the starting continents

They will simply respawn their boat and swim past you. The only way you will be affective is if you block a full merchant ship with goods from leaving so they have no way to go forwards or backwards. And even then you might need a warship in order to really stop them from getting past.

About that Main story cape reward: I got it being a Nuian on western continent, as said as a reward for finishing the last main story quest. You should get it there. Don't know about the eastern stuff, sorry.

I find it funny that the other day EVERYONE who was on trial for murder was claiming "but I was only killing bots!". The fact that the jury gave them slap on the wrist 2-5 minute sentences was luck on their end. Other games I've played with some form of open PvP considered murdering bots in the same boat as any other form of harassment. Yet while they were catching people for that like crazy, bots were oddly ignored by GMs/higher ups........

Game thought it was a good idea to put me on Jury duty against a guildmate.

So I got myself a 16x16 farm in the north of Two Crowns today in a prime spot right next to the ocean. These spots normally go for 1k gold but I found a seller who was new to the housing market that got this spot on launch. I was able to get it for 725 gold and don't regret the purchase because of how it is going to benefit me. This is the 4th 16x16 that has come into my possession now and probably the first one I wont sell at least for awhile. I own a warship that can hold 4 packs and I can put one on my back so I decided I would make trade packs here in Two Crowns then stick them on my farm. From there I can quickly and easily put them onto my ship without having to worry about owners mark running out. Also I own an 8x8 in Dewstone still in a perfect spot between the water and crafting area so I can do the same thing there. Also handy that when I leave Two Crowns my ship faces north allowing me to make full use of my speed boost ability allowing me to go 14.2m/s whereas a clipper can hit 11.1 max. I'm not using eco fuels either so if a clipper used those to speed up I could too and get more speed. There are always low levels begging to sail your ship so I let one take me to my destinations.
