I'm still just waiting to hear from Trion about not being able to use my account whatsoever.
Doing some backbreaking dancing exercises .
Please never fix this bug.
Wait so even if you get a key/invited or whatever, the beta is only up for certain days at a time? As in, in between these periods, you can't play?

[editline]31st July 2014[/editline] Unless you have a founder package.
The lack of noblock feature is driving me nuts. So many retards amassing near NPCs or quest objects... To that, add some giant pet hitbox = fucking fail. I was enthusiastic about this game, but it's already becoming a suckfest for me. Did I mention the spawn protection for mobs? 3sec after a mob spawns, you can click it, but you can't actually attack it, wtf is this? Talk about mob tagging in this game, it's a matter of ping, else you're waiting for another spawn...
Is there any Facepunch guild set up?
If you have trouble getting boar meat either join the raid group that is usually there or look around and you can find some boars away from that area You're able to get a boat around lv 25-30 and don't get suckered into buying the farmhouse because it costs like 3000 stone to make
I met some cool dude who was giving away 8x8 land, he gave it to me for free. Cool dude.
Managed to get a beta key. About 2 hours until I can join the rest of you guys :) Any tips for when I start?
so I read that only subscribers can 'claim' land does this mean that only subscribers can build houses/farms or do free players just have to jump through more hoops?
so I read that only subscribers can 'claim' land does this mean that only subscribers can build houses/farms or do free players just have to jump through more hoops?
You can claim land but not build houses from what I've read. [editline]31st July 2014[/editline] Is there nothing I can get right today?
Holy shit the dumb things people say in the general chat. The game is flooded with 12 year olds already
Oh first thing i did was make a no autism chat tab that removes all global channels [vid]http://a.pomf.se/ugloln.webm[/vid] Time spent well.
Which server EU should I play on?
Is there a way to trade certain amount of "Become a Founder!" -emails for actual beta-keys? My first offer is 10, I can go higher if it's necessary.

How long does it take to get some decent armor? I'm level 10 and still stuck with the set of clothes you start with Also, that musician class is badass
How long does it take to get some decent armor? You can buy some from an armor merchant, but some quests give you leather armor, cloth armor, etc.
I heard they may be adding dwarves at some point in the future as a playable race. 1:1 reenactment of boatmurdered, anyone?
I just went through the most annoying trade run ever!!! So after crafting a trade pack I have to take it to a place 2 territories away and naturally you will need to take an airship to get there. I arrive at the air tower just as the airship is leaving meaning I have to wait like 10 minutes for the next one. Whilst I wait another guy turns up doing the same thing and we talk and he tells me of how he tried to go by rowboat but failed as pirates killed him and took his stuff. Finally the airship arrives and about half way I decided to turn off the profanity filter in my settings but this made my screen go black and I had to crash the game. When I logged back in I fall to my death and race back on horse to get my trade pack before it is stolen. I am miles away from my destination and there are no horse carriages or airships nearby only a small river that leads to the ocean so I have no choice but to row down it to the open sea knowing the guy I was talking to told me he got jacked by pirates doing the same thing. I carefully row along the coastline hugging the beach and finally manage to sell the trade pack exhausted because this took me so much longer than it should have. I suppose I should be happy I at least did not get attacked by pirates too but fuck me was that an experience I don't want to happen again any time soon. [editline]31st July 2014[/editline] On the bright side it leveled me up to level 23 got me a Donkey and my farm is doing well. [t]http://i.imgur.com/yoWEbFl.png[/t]
I decided to try out this game yesterday, but was too tired to write my thoughts on it before now. First of all, it's been a while since I've been playing an MMO so... [t]http://i.minus.com/isGiZoOzl7lfO.jpg[/t] ...am I doing it right? Anyway, I can't say I was as hyped for the game when I heard about it, I was mostly just hoping to have a game to screw around in to keep me entertained. At first, it seems like I got what I expected, and I expected a themepark-MMO. The combat was based on hotkeys, the questing was standard and linear, etc. Still, the thing that bothered me the most was the fact that since this was the first day of beta, everyone were doing the same quest as me, which became a bit annoying especially when we got to the quest to kill one guy. This quest I will forever remember as the naked furry dance party: [t]http://i.minus.com/ibgUQC5EkLc5q6.jpg[/t] I did like the class system, however, as it reminded me a bit of how Elder Scrolls Online did it, but it didn't give me too much information on what the classes exactly did when I was actually choosing them. Because of this, I never really bothered choosing my skills after level 2 and I've made it to level 9 so far with only two combat skills from only one skillset. I guess the classes will be better explained after the beta, so I can't really complain about it just yet. Now, almost everyone in this thread seems to want to play this game with a specific goal. Some want to get a farm, some want to be pirates and others just want a giant airship. I in particular, was wondering about animal husbandry and if this tied into the system for pets and mounts. As I said, I found the questing a bit boring, but there was this one quest I think was a pleasant surprise. The quest basically involved playing with an adorable lion cub and just that got its own cutscene and everything, which I particularly loved. Skip a bit later in the game, and I was running around, doing quests when I noticed a bunch of people started having pets and mounts. I soon after was sent to do a quest in a town with a public farm outside of it. While I was expecting the farm to be almost empty and only contain a few plants and maybe one chicken, I instead discovered it was full of adult versions of that lion cub I played with earlier and instantly got curious. Turns out, while the game doesn't explain it (probably because I turned off the annoying voiced tutorials), there is a little thing in the game where you can buy a lion cub, grow plants to feed it, play with it, give it water and have a full grown mount in under a minute! A cool thing about it is that the mount also functions as a pet and you can give it equipment and skills to make it better in combat. Needless to say, I instantly changed my opinion of the game and now think it's amazing. TL;DR: The questing and combat seems a bit standard, but I liked the class and mount/pet system. Also, lion cubs are adorable.
Jesus christ the interface of this game. It looks like they saw GW2's interface and said "let's do that, but halfass it". Also, can't get settings to save, tried setting non-unicode program region to English (United States), no effect.
I'd guess that the interface is only bad, because we're still in closed beta. I guess once they switch to open beta and have most of the core features working without lots of bugs, they'll polish it up.
I'm playing the Alpha right now, and I don't know but I like the Alpha more over the closed Beta.
Got to level 24 and am stood outside a major city and got myself a wolf to fight beside me (combat pet cannot be ridden) [t]http://i.imgur.com/JKdyWgl.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/NsO60CA.png[/t] Sadly alpha servers have gone for for maintenance so I cannot explore the city yet.
Creating a guild on Eanna if anyone is playing on there and interested in joining.
Nobody got a fix for settings not saving? I can't really play it at 25fps when the game maxes everything out every time I restart, and half of the settings require a restart to take effect.
So umm, I only just realized how Mettle and "Boastful Roar" work. Basically, all the damage you take, you stack into Mettle, and, when you use Boastful Roar, you unleash your mettle stacks and deal damage equal to that. Highest I've been so far was 3.2k damage at level 20, but I know I can do better.
This game looks like a dream but i seriously fucking hate this style of combat A first person version of this would make my orgasm have orgasm's

I am playing on the alpha servers that are a separate download so it could be a bug related to beta build.
