Good tip for anyone trying to level from 30 the old-fashioned way: if you ever find yourself in an area with tension level 5, log out or do something else and come back after about 3 hours, as the area has gone over to peace by then. I did that in hellswamp and suddenly had an extra one and a half hours to get the rest of my questing done, while the next area was in a 30-minute-left war and would definitively be at peace by that time. Turns out that there seems to be some extra stuff to do on the side in that area, such as doing quests to obtain keys that would open a dungeon of some kind and killing bosses to get body parts that apparently has some specific purpose: [t]http://i.minus.com/irhdfJeu2FbiS.jpg[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/in1iWqZXXxrs7.jpg[/t] It kind of reminds me of another side thing in tigerspine where you can kill 4 different bosses and get a bunch of buffs for stuffing whatever they drop into a magic circle thing. I speak from experience when I say areas like that when not in peace in this game literally means that some people will straight up just instantly attack whoever is standing next to them, sometimes for no reason at all. Also, speaking of war, there's a western guild by the name of "Team Butchers" who (at least as far as I've seen) have done nothing but going on huge raids in the farms in Windscour, even at times when there isn't a war going on. In fact, I am writing this while waiting for a war to end in that area, just so I can plant a bunch of stuff. I used to have am 8x8 plot by the sea but I wanted to move it up to white arden next to my 16x16 plot, so I never sold it, I just scooped it up and left.

I am saving you time to sell your current stack, on top of saving you time gathering materials to raise both your level and profession.

I'm fairly happy with how Archeage is going for me. I have a Thatched farmhouse and 2 large farms of my own, plus I'm renting a large farm from a guildie a few steps away from my farms and one of my family members has his cottage there that I plant stuff on. So I grow about about 100 trees worth of fruit. I also have a cart and am making lodes emone running trade packs.
