All labor spent gives the same amount of XP according to your level. However no one mines star shards so theres a better chance you'll run out of labor before your XP pot runs out.

The experience ratio you get is percentual and when I mined starshard with level 41 it would give me ~1500xp. That's 1/3 of an overachieved hellswamp quest, just from one single starshard vein. Of course you can sell Iron aswell, but 100 iron ingots are worth about 1g25, while 100 starshard ingots sell for 25g. It's of course not as rewarding as traderun and stuff, but like I said I haven't reached 50 yet and thus lack the means to make safe money via trade

Who said you need to be level 50 to make trade runs, I've been doing trade runs since I was level 30 You don't even need a farm you can just buy stuff off the AH and you'll still make a profit

You really don't want to go anywhere near a pvp zone if you're alone with a tradepack, this also applies at level 50

If you're doing intercontinental trading for gold then you're doing it wrong If someone harpoons you despawn your boat and start swimming like you dont give a shit and respawn your boat when they leave, the more attention you give them the less likely they are to leave you alone

The first batch of those trees in the farm I found should be going to fully grown in about 30 more minutes.. I'm gonna take any thunderstrucks I find and simply leave it alone and move to the next batch and wait if nothing comes out of this one. Hopefully a thunderstruck forms.

I pull up to Crescent Throne in my Eznan full of trade packs and Kyprosa goes down for maintenance !!!!!! Now I gotta sit real fucking vigilant at the server select screen waiting to get back in so nobody gets in before me and fucks off in my boat. Why is it that I decide to do safer trade runs than intercontinental and it is proving more difficult because of people abusing glitches and maintenance.

I got 20K tailoring and 30K leatherworking :D.

Yeah your packs are pretty much gone :c
