I am really desparate for some Thunderstruck tree and i have 2x 16x16 spots, what do I do? I plant Pine trees and wait or I go for something like Poplar tree and just spam it?
Ceder seems to be the best for farms since you can planet more.

Junipers have a longer grow time than cedars by about a day and they're the same size. Grow Junipers.
Its not about growth time its about the amount of stages that the trees grow through.
All trees only have 3 stages... Sapling, Young Tree, Mature Tree

Grow junipers if you want to be harvesting rarely and do something like mining with the labor
Grow cedar if you want logs
Simple
Pines have 4. Sapling, Young Sapling, Young Tree, Mature Tree.

HooraaaAAaaaAAyyyyy... Welp, back to crafting.
Managed to find a public fellowship gazebo, I can't use the Fellowship Workbench but the person who owns it has every Regal workbench open to the public, and I've been looking for a public Regal Cooking Set for weeks.
Tip for those who need regal workbenches but either don't have a house or don't want to pay the 60g for it:
In Solzreed in Wardon where you get the quest to look at and walk through the 3 homes, the one in the back with a porch has all of the regal crafting benches and you can use them. I don't know about in the East but they probably have something similar
It broke :(

Success! Kinda.
tl;dr I lost 300g worth of gear to a trade hacker.
Another guy got hacked too, his items got reimbursed in 6 hours.
I posted before him, been waiting for 2 days, finally went to live chat and got escalated.
Is this similar to Wurm. If so is it better?
Is this similar to Wurm. If so is it better?
Yes and no to both.
Similarities:
-A huge array of farming and crafting present in game, as well as land ownership, open pvp areas, player factions (coming later), castles (coming later)
Differences, Pro-Archeage:
-Higher end graphics
-More optimized
-More combat options
-Better looking terrain, gear, mounts, player models, etc
Differences, Pro Wurm:
-Much higher level of customization (i.e. terraforming, free-form building construction)
-Much higher level of crafting detail (quality levels ranging from 0.01 to 100)
-Much higher level of skill customization and detail
It's hard to compare most games to Wurm because Wurm is pretty one of a kind. The only game I've seen recently to come close is "Life is Feudal"
You can't really say if one of these two is better than the other, either. Personally I think Wurm is better for the customization, but Archeage is better for graphics and non-crafting gameplay.
I wish Archeage was as free-form as Wurm (bigger maps, no housing zones but put your house wherever, terraforming, etc) conversely I wish Wurm had a team and budget as good as Archeage did.
bigger maps, no housing zones but put your house wherever
real estate bot heaven
The only similarities is there's farming and non instanced housing really
Also boats
A more Wurm-experience is Life is Feudal, when it releases in MMO form.
Anybody else here super good with armor-craft? I've got a couple of questions
Anybody else here super good with armor-craft? I've got a couple of questions
what'sup?
some shitty disconnects happening right now.
not sure if it was luck or it held my place, but I managed to get back into queue where I left off when I got DC'd and am waiting for my trial to load as I type
So i just have a simple question, people i know have told me that archage isn't worth playing unless you pay for it, is this true?
you can do everything except own a house or craft for a long period due to a smaller cap on the 'labor' units you accumulate over time. It's fine to play but you do have to remember that a free-to-play's business model is to get people to pay for things anyways. For what little sacrifice they impose I think it's pretty good
Alright, i just wanna try it out really see if i like it before i think about putting money into it
level 50 my niggas
it was pain
almost got my second char to 50 already. lv 43 as of this morning.
showoff
man, i don't know why, but the second i got to the open-pvp zones my interest in this game has plummeted. there's nothing better than getting murdered by a dozen weeb-ass east 50's. i'm just trudging through incredibly boring content to get to 50 so i can finally do cool shit. i think? i mean, i don't know what any "cool shit" there is to do, but man, there's gotta be something, right??? i'm in hasla at the moment, and it seems just as boring as the last zone. it's always at war whenever i go to quest, so i can't exactly do shit there. maybe it's just my playstyle. i really enjoy being an abolisher for pvp, but solo questing takes literal years. these last three levels are making me think about respeccing a little, or maybe just putting the game down until the new continent gets added. i'd love to craft, as the crafting system seems alright, but... man, screw paying for patron.
also, west 4 lyfe.
