ArcheAge - A Sandbox MMO with Realistic Queue Action - Games

Playing on Ezi with a guild named Order of the Northern Skies and we were camping Sandeep for easy packs. We caught one red merchant ship and after a few deaths were able to hijack the ship and the 14 packs that remained on-board. I drove the ship in the middle of the ocean before it was un-summoned. Our crew managed to salvage 5 packs because a few green ships showed up out of no where. Probably stole a gold seller's ship and they called for back up. Wish I had screen shots, it was quite the adventure. I never knew about the eternal items, I'll have to farm both for sure. Crafting them is a pain in the ass. Just finished gathering all materials for a fishing boat except for 1 more TS Tree and the fishing lisence. Fuck is that expensive or what?

Fuck is that expensive or what?[/QUOTE] If you think crafting them is a pain in the ass you don't know what you're getting into.:v: Imagine having to look around a large area for tiny pots that blend into the enviroment in the darkness of the deep sea, with a 30 minutes respawn cooldown and while trying to avoid getting killed by other players. Now do that a hundred times or more :suicide: To be fair after a while you end up memorizing the spawn points and it becomes much easier, but starting out is a huge pain in the ass because of how difficult they are to spot at a glance. I got very lucky with the fins as I hear some people had to grind for days, it only took me a couple of hours No luck today though, even though I'm 70g richer, and I ended up selling my old fins for 90g (twice the price I bought them for back in the day. sweet.). Think I'm going to give up for now cause underwater is so fucking hard to see and it's giving me eye strain. The fins are what I was mostly interested anyway. I'm going to try and get the personal breathing device instead if I can find someone to help me. I'm out of greedy candies already, thought they only worked for mob drops though, good to know Also clippers are officially out of fashion. Yesterday Pad managed to snatch an expiring 16x16 near our land, after some switcharoo we turned a bunch of 8x8 and a 16x16 in a 24x24 farmhouse and a 16x16 Between Paddeh, Xavith and me we own most of the hill top next to birchkeep on kyprosa. I took over Pad's old house too. All the exploits and changes Trion left in game/finding about/adding ruined this game.

You guys can claim compensation for server down time by going [URL="archeagegame.com/en/shop/"]here[/URL] then logging in. Just scroll down for the compensation pack and get it. You get some half decent stuff and it takes 5 seconds so no reason not to really.

What the fuck happened?[/QUOTE] First there was a worker's compensation flood with fake credit card info that people were doing. Trion cleaned up the worker's comps but it took them forever. Next they added Thunderstruck trees to the marketplace (making it even more p2w. Trion has no say in what goes into the marketplace as they aren't XL games). Which ruined the easiest way to make money. Next there was those crates in the marketplace, people could force what items they wanted out of them. This was known for atleast a month before it was fixed as I knew people in the guild I was in that did it. Then when trion learned about this one, someone decided to leak the infinite apex exploit that you could do by using the mirage island portal after clicking the apex. (side note: I don't get why people post exploits, use them and send them to devs if you feel needed). Both these were pretty simple exploits, especially the forcing of items out of the rng boxes. I knew people who did both methods, they didn't get punished, nothing of theirs got removed. One guy even had 120k gold before I quit. Next there was another APEX exploit dealing with sending it to yourself in the mail. Again, the people who got a 24 hour ban to clean this up, got unbanned and most of the time kept everything that they got from the APEX. Then there was some trading exploit that people are doing forcing people off their carts and taking their trade packs. I quit after the RNGboxes exploit got leaked. Really wish people would keep this stuff to themselves. All of this pretty much ruined the game for a lot of players, It's pretty empty now.

That's a shame. I was hoping the game would have done well seeing as how it had a lot of potential, but it seems like the exploits were royally mishandled. There can be no fucking around when it comes to managing the economy of a sandbox: shit like that would depopulate even EVE in a matter of days if a similar thing happened. I really do hope the game recovers.

Small servers are probably pretty empty but we all knew it was going to happen when trion started adding a bunch of servers right after release I don't post here but I still play everyday

And your empty and my empty may mean two different things. If your server status doesn't reach high anymore, it's probably empty.
