As far as I know, Party Hats is correct. There might be wipes in alpha aswell, but that's not confirmed and Trion's gonna try to avoid that.

Latter however is mentioned a couple of times on their page aswell.

I'm not getting this right. Is the game in alpha or beta now? Cause I see beta events but people still talk about access to alpha. If I buy the silver founder pack, can I play now, or do I have to wait?

When that happens, the betaservers are up for a fixed time. In order to play now, however, you'd have to grab an Archeum pack since the CBE3 is ending in about 3 hours.

The Alpha is going to remain a thing until launch, at which point it will be converted to the test servers, where everything in Alpha will carry over. Everything in the Betas however will be wiped prior to launch.

Yesterday I got a quest I had been dreading for a while now; the quest to sail over the ocean, filled with pirates, elves sponsored by hair products and [I]fucking seabugs[/I] in order to sell some delicious elephant cookies to the enemy in the Crescent Throne. Knowing only what dangers may await, I set out early that very day into the unknown which was far out of any little kitten's comfort zone; the Castaway Strait. [t]http://i.minus.com/ib15NZtIKJThMG.jpg[/t] Now that would be a pretty clear sign that I really shouldn't try rowing out in a tiny boat out in the open ocean but, even after being defeated by the most petty scourge there is out in the sea, I regrew my courage and bananas and went out once more to face the dangers of the ocean. This time however, I managed to be pursued by some of the more dangerous of dangers, so dangerous that my vocabulary quickly runs out of words to describe how dangerous it is. On my route I was intercepted by a small clipper with a crew of two and a hunger for tiny rowboats carrying tiny kittens and a pack full of cookies. Instinctively, I quickly jumped off my boat in a desperate act and watched the wrongdoers be distracted by the empty boat before they realized that the boat was empty and moved away without looking for my corpse in the water. Now I could finally ascend the unfamiliar dock and say the most first thing my tired brain could think of in a language the natives of this land could only understand as gibberish. The travel happened at night and I could not take the risk to light my lamp on the way. Through the journey I passed ominous islands and even encountered a giant jellyfish, but the latter was rather easy to [del]outrun[/del] outrow. Anyone on the Omega server willing to help me get started? I'm level 15, finished all the Green quests and looking for land to place my farm and my house! I'm 6 Gilda stars short of 50 so I can buy either a big farm house or a boat, what would be more important? EDIT: After noticing how there's basically no place anywhere to place houses or farms I guess a boat would make more sense.. a 24x24 spot is almost impossible to find

I'm on omega, theres some land out where my guild puts all their land.. Should get 50 stars if you finished all the story line quests. Theres a few in silent forest if you didn't do those.

Okay so I bought the founders pack, and the beta is offline. Is it because the beta hasn't started for Founders yet, or is it offline, or am I weird?

If there is going to be another before it gets in to open beta, you'll be in that.

only the alpha is on consistently iirc, beta has access weekends

There is this time trial quest on the Eastern continent that gives you eco fuel, but to complete it you need to go really fast (like speedster fast). Luckily there was a nice Firran by the name of Gasperrr that gave me a ride in his car so that I could complete the quest :smile:

When does it come out?

No idea, maybe mid to late September.

Friday being the 4th closed beta, I could see a 2-3 week long open beta before release.
