You know you've been playing too much Archeage when you're driving down the road, see a 10' tall pine tree, and immediately think to yourself "No, that's going to be too young to harvest." [editline]21st August 2014[/editline] I LOVE making hereafter stones for XP (4500 XP/craft with a vocation tonic at level 40), just spent 5000 labor making 300 hereafter stones got like 3-4 levels. But I absolutely hate the price disparity between stone bricks and hereafter stones. Stone Bricks - 20g/100 on AH Hereafter Stones - 9g/100 on AH Spend like 68g making 300 hereafter stones and I'll make maybe 27g.

It's more like your classical MMO until level 30, then the sandbox part starts and the game becomes really fun. Getting to lv 30 takes about 2-3 days so it's not really a problem eheh

Is the game launching extremely slowly for anyone else playing the alpha? For me it stays on the green intro logo thing for over 10 minutes while devouring my RAM and once I actually get in the game and try to connect to a server, the first attempt almost always leads to the game freezing for even more time before I'm automatically disconnected.

Boy how i'm enjoying these Occasional Freezes FPS Spikes when turning (Note that these two issues are DX11 exclusive, it is gone in DX9 although you still get the typical fps drops every now and then in mmos when going into new places) Thousands of le funny epic maymay twitch users being retards in the chat.

I'm level 11 at the moment and my biggest issue at the is the labor point system. It seems essentially impossible to do any real crafting as a free player. (50 points for a single Hereafter stone for example, which would take 50 minutes of online time to gain.) IMO, this game will die within a year if they keep all the F2P restrictions that they currently have.

I didn't know how to get them other than I had 5 of 'em from quests. Labor system is fine if you afk a lot.
