As it stands the interest in an FP based guild is incredibly thin, having two guilds for either server would amount to each guild hosting a probable 6 people, and that's with everyone here deciding to join it.
I dunno man, FP has two Diablo 3 guilds, one NA one EU, when everbody was playing we had atleast 40-50 people online in the EU one.
Is there an EU server for alpha? I want to see how bad / good it is. Maybe I can play on EU
Is there an EU server for alpha? I want to see how bad / good it is. Maybe I can play on EU
I -think- Omega is the EU server, but dont quote me on that
I -think- Omega is the EU server, but dont quote me on that
If that's true, then I will have no problem with EU.
There's also the problem that, correct me if I'm wrong, you can't have a guild with mixed races from both continents For a game so based on social gameplay it certanly doesn't make it easy to play together
I -think- Omega is the EU server, but dont quote me on that
servers are located in Dallas
servers are located in Dallas
ahhhhhh well that'd do it then. urf
Back to what is currently happening, I recently finally found a suitable spot for my farm! [t]http://i.minus.com/ibmmhvshYlCnkE.jpg[/t] Or not... [t]http://i.minus.com/iqWhkOhbOldrE.jpg[/t] Anyway, I found a second spot to stuff it down in and now finally have my own scarecrow farm. [t]http://i.minus.com/ibyCbOXSjRr3gs.jpg[/t] So naturally, the first thing I did was going to the crafting area so I could find the NPCs, but apparently they were not there at all. [t]http://i.minus.com/ixtQA85xlZiAB.jpg[/t] That wasn't even a pop-in error, they literally haven't appeared in the few days I've owned property here, even after restarting the game. Fortunately, I could still use the crafting stations and make a lumber pack to finish the farm. [t]http://i.minus.com/iFMwAe8BsODcl.jpg[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/iTlDcUvEHuI4Y.jpg[/t] Still, just to top off how problematic this spot was, the mirage isle portal got me stuck in a pillar. Do you guys know where to get it for -40€? I saw something on g2a.com but it's empty now, same with most part of the reseller websites I know. I'm looking for Silver.
nevermind I didn't see that you were looking for silver not archeum.
So as alpha is going down and players were waiting on the event, I suggested an annual boat show in austera. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Fbh4aov.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/2ARBtKK.jpg[/thumb] It was exciting! Even had people lining up on the docks to watch. and then the gm event happened [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/fzrU4PI.jpg[/thumb]
So I played this during the last beta event, got to level 20. It's probably the most interesting mmorpg that's free to play lately, so I dropped some money on the silver founder pack.
Really wanted to be on for the event and the closure but it was 2am here and I am going out today with family to London for my sisters birthday so I needed sleep. What happened in the gm event ?
nevermind I didn't see that you were looking for silver not archeum.
Do you know where to obtain a cheaper Archeum?
Hope some optimization is done before release, but i guess this is the final outcome. cant wait to play again.
Do you know where to obtain a cheaper Archeum?
I think the place was called Kinguin
I think the place was called Kinguin
Was hoping for a different source, they took the packs off kinguin aswell. :( And tomorrow I would've gotten my payment to buy it..
How is the F2P model going to work out in this? I wish I could have afforded to become a founder back when I first heard of this. I decided I'd stay away and wait til it came into popular news and here it is. I'm probably going to start out in a few weeks (it's released next week right?)

F2P model is that you can't own a farm/house because F2P members cannot pay taxes. However you can use a guild farm, and you can use gold to buy Apex, which gives you patron status, allowing you to have your own farm/clipper. F2P members also are capped out at 2k labor, unless they changed that. Once you buy Apex, your cap can go up to 5k, and even if you go back to F2P, it will stay at 5k. Not sure if there's anything else.
Is gold the ingame currency or is that one of these weird crypto-currencies you buy with real cash?
Is gold the ingame currency or is that one of these weird crypto-currencies you buy with real cash?
gold is ingame and credit is the one with real cash. They dont clash with each other afaik
Is gold the ingame currency or is that one of these weird crypto-currencies you buy with real cash?
You can also purchase some marketplace items (credits) with gold. So if you don't want to spend real money on credits to buy somethings, use gold.
From what I've read it's possible to get patron status without using real money. Though does this mean if your patron status runs out and you don't have enough gold/credits to renew it, you lose your land?

Taxes are once a week, so if you pay right before patron status, you have a week till your stuff disappears.
I've heard mixed things about this. It looks good, but most people I've talked to have said it's not nearly worth the Early Access price, and all the bonuses for paying for a free game raises a lot of P2W red flags in my mind.

Is finding land to farm as hard as I've been reading around? I'm tempted to buy patron despite generally not liking premium subscriptions just so I can have my own little farm and not have to worry about getting my stuff stolen but I don't see much of a point in it if I won't be able to find free space

public farms are severely limited in both the quantity and the type of things you can grow in them, so not really an option in the long run.
